21  Forum / Health / Bosom Cancer.... Educate Someone on: 3-11-2008 09:00 PM
Do you wear bra for the whole day and even at home?
I think we should go bra-free after reading this article.
It's a message for your health.
Please pass this to all female friends you know.
I think it's important to be aware.
For years, a lot of articles with regards to the causes of Bosom  cancer point to an unhealthy diet and lack of exercise as the major links to this disease which happens to be the biggest killer among women during these last two decades.
These studies would have been most credible if it were not for the fact that several women including Linda McCartney who have been religious vegetarians and exercise- freaks have also been unfortunate in suffering Bosom  cancer.
Perhaps the most convincing article I have ever read with regards to this matter is one which links Bosom  cancer to the wearing of bras.
In the "Bra and Bosom  Cancer Study" in the United States ,
It was discovered that women with Bosom  cancer had a history of sporting tighter and longer bra-wearing than did the women who had not (yet) developed the disease.
In fact, virtually the entire cancer group wore bras over 12 hours.
When a woman wears a tight bra, she subjects her Bosom s to pressure, closing off the lymphatic pathway from the Bosom  to the nodes.
This causes fluid built-up swelling, tenderness and cyst formation.
Toxins must be flushed out via the lymphatic.
However, a bra-constricted Bosom  cannot adequately perform this cleansing process, resulting in toxin accumulation in the Bosom .
Truthfully, bras are creating droopy, weak Bosom s..... .the Bosom  relies on the bras for artificial support; the body loses its ability to support the Bosom  by itself.
This is why many women feel uncomfortable without the bra.
What is the solution to Bosom  cancer then?
DON'T WEAR A TIGHT BRA!
And maybe sleep without them.
There is a remarkable success rate for recovery from fibrocystic Bosom  disease within 10 days to two weeks of going bra-free.
Many women have tried going bra-less and recorded a miraculous improvement in their health!
Bra burning is no longer a feminist issue... It is now a battle between life and death.
We should make others more aware of the hazards of wearing...

... Please pass this on to every female you know. & Guys who care for their loved ones.

I love u all

23  Forum / Politics / A Black Man In A White House on: 1-11-2008 10:33 AM
Is it possible that the union of a Kenyan immigrant and an American white lady over forty years ago result in the birth of the first African American black president of the most powerful nation in the world? How possible is it that a first generation African emerge as the president of the United States of America? Is America ready to embrace a man of colour to be its president? Is it possible for a black man to be in a white house…..this and many more are the questions been asked by keen observers of the united states of America’s election slated for the first week of November.

Like a fairy tale, Barack obama emerged from the blues and began a journey 10 years ago that people like Martin Luther King jnr., Jesse Jackson and Rosa Park started but could not finish. As an American by birth but Kenyan by origin, the Harvard law graduate had a dream to be the best in whatever he does and he has re-written the history by becoming the first black man to clinch the democratic nomination and contesting for the top job in White House and beating top contender former first lady- Hilary Clinton.

The Obama emergence has poised serious questions for the African continent. If he were to be in Africa, is it possible for him to emerge as a candidate without a godfather? How many leaders in Africa are below the fifty year age? Can Africa ever become politically mature as the developed countries of the world? Can Africa ever conduct an election without bloodshed, rancor and violence? Can our electoral bodies ever become truly independent? When will we begin to have leaders that are focused, prudent and purposeful? Until these questions are answered, Africa will continue to be in her pariah state without strong and determined leaders as we have in Europe and the Americas.

The present state that our leaders have put us in Africa is saddening, with a population of above 600million and over 90% of the living on less than one dollar a day, Africans are under developed materially, educationally and psychologically. Save for Nelson Mandela and our first generation leaders like kwame Nkrumah, obafemi awolowo, tafawa balewa and nnamdi azikiwe, all the others are nothing but myopic power thirsty money mongers.

While I cannot but praise the giant strides of this true son of mother Africa that is representing the continent very well when some of his fellow compatriots engage in unwholesome practices abroad, I sincerely hope and pray that African leaders will learn a thing or two and from the American experience and reform this continent that has been reported to have over 1/3 of the worlds mineral resources and abundant human resources. Africa was the centre piece of civilization with the first world power (EGYPT) and the first university, therefore we have  no reason whatsoever to be poor, we are blessed and we should shrug off our docile nature and start holding our leaders responsible for all the actions they make on our “behalf’.

Please as you peruse this blog, remember Obama in your prayers as he ventures into the white world of the United States.

I was in Kano State recently, and I wasn't happy with I saw. 15% of the girls I interviewed were teenagers and were pregnant. 5% are infected with HIV. What do you think?
