Wizkid did not only just take pictures with Rihanna when he was in the US, the young star also recorded a song with her. Speaking today on the Beat 99.9fm via the telephone with Toolz, the singer confirmed it. He also said there will be 6 official parties to celebrate his birthday in different countries. It will be of note that the singer turned 24 today.


 

A mother and her two pregnant daughters have all been left tragically widowed after their husbands died in a plane crash in California on July 6th.

The three husbands, Doug Symiczek, 49 (centre), Kyle Parton, 29 (left), and Jacob Griffiths, 32, (right) were on a small private plane when it crashed into a mountain in California. The men had taken a morning flight to enjoy breakfast at their favourite cafe but on their way back home around 9am, the single-engined plane got in to difficulties and crashed in to a nearby mountain & exploded on impact. Jacob's wife (pictured left) was three months pregnant at the time of the fatal crash..and just day before the accident, Jacob and Amanda had posed for photographs to announce their happy news.
 
The girl's mum, Kim, had been married to their dad (pictured on top) for 30 years. So they lost their husbands and dad same day. The dad had been piloting the plane that morning..and owned the plane.

Veteran Nollywood actor, Kayode Olasehinde Ajirebi, popularly known as “Pa James” in the popular Wale Adenuga production ‘Papa Ajasco’ has said that Yoruba actors are not respected in the Nigerian movie industry, asserting that most Yoruba Actors are usually ‘used and dumped’. Ajirebi who said this during an interview with Orisun TV, noted that he would rather feature in an English movie than a Yoruba movie.

 “You see, our people in Yoruba movie sector seem to belong to the set of people I would refer to as ‘Use and Dump’. ” Though they didn’t do that to me, they have done it to some people. They would patronize you and offer you peanut, and the moment you demand for a higher pay, they would abandon you and by so doing, their movies are lacking in some areas.” “You will notice that some of the things we introduced into movies to create suspense are no longer there. They are aware, but because they don’t want to spend much, they overlook such areas. What they normally do is to call their friends to come and partake in their movies and give them something, not the correct fee. But now, this career has gone beyond giving casts transport fare alone, while they (producers) would buy cars after the production. They want to cheat us. If a producer comes to me and we agree on fees, I will feature in his movie, but no more peanuts. I have paid my dues and I have responsibilities to meet.” he stated.
