I have already expressed my mind in the earlier write-up.
2  Forum / Politics / Re: The Big Election Is Here, Who Will You Vote: Buhari Vs. Goodluck Jonathan Poll on: 20-03-2015 10:56 AM
I count my vote for Buhari for this reason:

President Jonathan has been the President for six years and from what we see he cannot push himself more than what we have seen or witnessed. Election should not be do or die affairs.  If somebody is there today and is voted out and the person replacing him does not perform up to expectation, he, too should be ready to go in the next election. This idea of free and fair election will make our politicians to be accounted to the electorates and give value for entrusting them with power.  The PDP has gone to sleep, they are just doing as if whether you like it or not they will remain in power, forgotting that your performance in terms of giving the people value for voting them in should be their watch word.  I am happy that going by what we are experiencing before the election, people are going to determine who govern them.  The earliest time we nearly got this term was the election for Chief M.K.O. Abiola, but unfortuntely, he was never allowed to get there. However, we all knew he won the election.

In 2011 President Jonathan came without any promise, the entire Southern people and Christian brothers in the North gave him their votes.  Hoping that he would deliver by responding to the yearning and aspiration of the majority of the electorates. The Christian brothers in the North plus people from South-South and South East suffered most in the killing masterminded by the Book Haram.  The first priority of any leader is ensuring security of live and property.  This is not there and they are still expecting support from this same people.  I think it is a wishful thinking. At the same time the people of South West with their massive support got nothing to show off.  Yet some people close their eyes expect the king of 2011 support.  I think is a least expected.

To worsting the situation. The people he has around him, I think they are opportunists who want to enrich themselves.  Even if you want support from South west and want to convince them to vote for him, it should be done in very civilize and secretive ways.  Instead, the idea of lavishing money to a very few people and hope the entire zone will support is least expected.  Yoruba people with kind of what Chief Obafemi Awolowo has done would not respond postivilly for this type of approach. These people are just interested in your money and would not mind doing anything to continue milking you.  The truth of the message was given by the Oba of Ijebu land.  Let me rest my case here and give my vote to Gen. M. Buhari.

Thank you

This is one good thing of being a teacher. It was in those days that the teachers reward was in
Heaven.  Nowadays, it is on earth here you get your reward of being a teacher.  Am sure all the teachers that taught some of our leaders would have gone to them for one assistance or the other.  I envy the great teacher!

This is a testimony that something has to be done to the standard of our education in this country.  If the exams at this level is experiencing mass failure at that junction something is actually gone wrong.

One thing that is giving me concern in this pocture is our leaders are getting richers while the countries they are governed are the worse for it.

I think it is a good thing for people like the former Governor.  There is a need to show sanity as can be seen from his treatment in former President's place.  Our politicians are not principled.  That is why they change from one party to another.  If I may remember, he fought the man outside and wanted to go behind to beg. This is not politicking but a high degree of not being upright!  This is a big lesson to others.

Thank  God for your life.  Infact, the whole episode is a demonstration of a failed system.  Just as he said, if the authority had tried their best in treating her probably she would have survived it. But the fact that she was left unattended to speak volume of a deteriorating health system. Something has to be done fast! Again, I thank God for him

May his soul rest in perfect peace!  Though dead is inevitable, when one dies is no news.  But the death of Patrick Sawyer being the first  official victim to die of Ebola calls for worries that this deadly decease is very much around, especially this period of medical doctors strike in public hospitals.  Something has to be done urgently. Don't you agree with me?
