I am still a member of the PDP. Or do you want to pursue me out of PDP (laughs). Don't forget, I am founding member of PDP, a party under which banner I became the President for 8years. I was later made the Chairman BoT. Why will I leave PDP?... PDP is a very big family, the largest party in Africa. When the time comes, we would re-unite and tighten loose end.

Are you going to support President Goodluck Jonathan for 2nd term
Is he contesting again? I have not been informed.

You were absent from PDP rally in Ekiti where your estranged godson, Fayose won convincingly. Now, Osun election is coming, what is your take on this? Are you going to campaign for Omisore?
See when it boils down to performance, overall development and general welfare of the people he governs in Osun, I salute his spirit. Aregbesola has changed what we used to know as Osun. And the physical manifestations are not only in papers but can be seen by even the PDP man. It is not about the party but the person who administers, Aregbesola has his weaknesses but he is above board. Don't get me wrong Omisore has paid his dues in Osun politics, nobody is saying Omisore can't contest, if I were him I would wait for this man to finish his 8years and then launch myself"

Mavin Records’ up and coming act, Korede Bello, in a new interview with punch, disclosed how he got into music and met popular producer and Mavin Boss, Don Jazzy. H further talked marriage too. See excerpts below:

The social media was set on fire last weekend with Korede Bello’s ‘wink.’ What is it really about?
I would be lying to you if I tell you that I know how it came about because prior to when we released the Dorobucci video, I did not even know that I winked in that video. But after the video was released, people were just commenting on my social media pages that they liked the wink. Everybody was just
talking about the wink; the buzz was not really on the video, so I decided to tell my fans to put up pictures of them doing the wink and alert me.

Are you in a relationship?
I am actually in a relationship with my fans that I call Bellovers. I am also in a relationship with God.

Do you have a girlfriend?
I have no comment on that.

Your label mate, Dr. Sid, got married recently, when do you plan to get married?
If Don Jazzy is not married, I cannot think about it. If my boss has not got married, why should I be thinking about it?

What are you currently working on?
I am working on more singles and more songs. I want more people to know who Korede Bello is beyond the musician.

Ahead of the coming African/American Leaders Summit billed for Monday in Washington DC, United States, President Barack Obama, has said some African participants attending will be screened for exposure to the dreaded Ebola virus.

President Goodluck Jonathan along with his aides is among the African leaders expected to attend the event.

According to a Reuters report, Obama explained on Friday that the action would be taken to protect the US from the outbreak of the disease.

He said, “Folks who are from these countries that have even a marginal risk, or an infinitesimal risk of having been exposed in some fashion, we’re making sure we’re doing screening.”

The United States, Obama said, takes risks from the deadly Ebola virus very seriously hence the planned test for the expected African leaders.

I don’t know if I should call this an attempt at being famous or this is just really Maheeda. You came back from Holland recently. What were you doing there?

I went to Holland because of my daughter. She’s about to enter High School and I don’t want her to go to school over there. My husband taught me a lot. He opened my mind to see a lot of things in different ways, so, I said alright foreign education would be very nice for my daughter. I actually sacrificed staying in Nigeria for my daughter.

What’s your view of religion?

For me, if it’s not love, if you don’t speak with love then forget it. I don’t want to be a part of it. It has to be love. If you want to kill me because of religion then I don’t think you have love inside. May be, it’s wrong but that’s my belief and I believe people should respect other people’s beliefs

Has your daughter watched your Nood videos?

Yes.
What if she decides to do what you’re doing?

Right now, she’s under my care. I won’t allow her but when she’s up to 18 and she might say “mommy, I saw what you did and I want to do the same.” I’ll say it’s your choice. People have to make their choices. I mean my mom wasn’t a nudist or whatever, she was a very nice woman but look at me today. I’m not saying I’m not nice but I’m trying to say she didn’t go showing off all her body everywhere. Nobody even knew her but look at me. I mean pastors’ children also end up in club so you can’t really say because of what mommy is doing, that means the daughter would do the same. I don’t believe that.
