If the reports  are true, Adamma crooner Flavour N’Abiana is expecting a little bundle of joy with Sandra Okagbue, a model and former Face of Delta Soap.
Nobody knew these two were even dating. They sure kept it quiet.
According to sources it has been  CONFIRMED that Flavour is the secret man in Sandra’s life and that marriage might be on the cards. Their baby will be birthed in September 2014 in the United States.
Flavour was previously linked with Big Brither Africa: The Chase winner Dillish Matthews. The two were spotted enjoying a cosy dinner just before Dillish announced she had broken up with her long term boyfriend. There had also been unconfirmed reports linking Sandra with Chelsea footballer John Mikel Obi.
Congrats to Flavour & Sandra…if this is true. Neither party has made any comment regarding the pregnancy.


 

It doesn’t look like the Davido vs Wizkid feud is ending anytime soon! The Culture Custodians caught up with the 21 year old pop star in Lagos for an in depth interview about everything Davido & one of the major topics of discussion was Wizkid & their rivalry.

During the interview Davido couldn’t help but take some subliminal jabs at Wizkid a certain music industry colleague, when he was asked for a release date for his album, Davido replied, “Me I no dey change date” , one can see that statement as a reference to the perpetual changes in the release date of Wizkid’s second studio album, something Bank W recently addressed.

He may also have subbed Wizzy when he spoke about how he has helped promote other artistes,

Being the frontrunner, everything is God. God puts you in the position you’re in at all times and then you have to help the people. It’s why I’ve done collabos with Runtown, MC Galaxy (He was the first person in my studio and now has one of the hottest songs around). The list goes on. Diamond, I put him on in Africa. And that was not all Davido’s artiste, B-Red had recently been promoting a single which featured Wizkid just before the social media war of words between Davido & Wizkid popped off…after the shots were thrown B-Red went radio silent on the Wizkid collab and instead started promoting a new single with Phyno!

When Davido was asked about why he pulled the plug on the collab, he laughed it off and said,

“I’m not sure between him and Wiz. I think it didn’t work out but I’m not sure.”

When asked what he would do if he bumped into Wizkid and his response leaves no doubt that there is still no love lost between the two.

If I see him. Whatever. It depends on the situation, it doesn’t matter. We might greet. We might not. Who cares?

I hope these two don’t come to blows if they run into each other!

Comic actor, Bolaji Amusan better known as Mr. Latin, has discredited social media report that himself and famous Yoruba actor, Odunlade Adekola fondly called Sunday Dagboru are now in bitter feud over Globacom endorsement deal which attracts whopping millions of naira. He added that the tale neither has a head nor tail.

Speaking with ENCOMIUMWeekly, the Ogun-based entertainer expressed total dissatisfaction about the report, calling on the public to disregard it out-rightly as there is no rancor whatsoever between himself and Adekola, who he described as one of his closest guys and colleague. He, however, labeled those behind the report as mischief makers.

“That’s not true at all. And I am sure you too know. Some people had called me on it to find out whether Odunlade Adekola and I are truly fighting over Glo ambassador of a thing. I just laughed because I am sure they don’t understand how Odunlade Adekola and I are close. They don’t understand the kind of cordial relationship between the two of us. That’s why they are fueling that kind of speculation.

“I am disappointed in the way some people use social media in creating confusion and causing unnecessary rancor, breaking other people’s relationship. It’s unfair. It should be used as an instrument to create, not to destroy. I wonder how some people get their information. They will just sit somewhere and start circulating fake information. What are they gaining from such a thing? I believe they don’t know how close both of us are, that’s why they’re fuelling that kind of stupid speculation.

“For your information, Odunlade is my very close guy, brother, friend and colleague. Even, I just finished from his movie location a few days ago. We were together throughout.

“In the first place, how can we quarrel over Glo ambassador deal? Are we part of the people who decide who should represent the company? My being one of the ambassadors of the company right now does not have anything to do with Odunlade. So, people are just peddling unnecessary rumour, a kind of rumour that has no head or tail. Everybody is aware of how Glo does its thing. No one can influence their decision when it comes to who will be the ambassador of the brand for certain period. Nobody can lobby for it. You will surely be contacted when it’s your time. I didn’t know anybody there.

“I believe people are just fabricating the story because I am based in Ogun where Odunlade is also based. It’s just a kind of imagination by mischief makers. There is nothing like quarrel between Odunlade and I.”

When Asked to shed light on the amount he smiled home with as a new ambassador of the telecoms giant, he reacted, “Don’t worry my brother. I will give you details when I am ready to grant you a full interview on it. But the only thing I can tell you now is that it’s true I am one of the ambassadors of GlobacomTelecommunication Company right now, and I am very grateful to God about that.”

The Gospel Apostolic church where Pa Samuel Sadela presided has left the media and the country as a whole confused as to whether the oldest pastor in Nigeria is dead or not.

Indications emerged yesterday that Pa Samuel had given up the ghost in a Lagos hospital, but the church fervently denied it.The church security guards told reporters that it was only a mere rumour and the 114-year old man is still alive.

A senior church member, Mr Atode also told a reporter that the man was still alive and he urged the public to discard the rumours. Continue...


‘’It is a mere speculation that the old man is dead. Though he is aged, he still performed his church roles until last Sunday.

“Perhaps people are apprehensive that he was absent last Sunday, but believe me, the man is alive but hospitalised.

“If such a thing has happened, the church would have announced it,” he said.

Shockingly, when reporters got there later yesterday evening, a condolence register had already been opened, while an official statement was still being awaited, with the people around insisting the man is still alive.

It will be recalled that, the pastor who always feels young at heart disclosed last year while celebrating his 113th birthday that he wishes to live longer.

“I feel happy to be this old. Actually, I feel like a young man. I still enjoy my meal of Iyan (pounded yam), Eba and bush meat. I sleep whenever I want to and wake up stronger I want to live longer to prove to all that God remains the same as He was in times past. If Methuselah could live for 969 years, God can make me live well beyond 113. If Noah could be 950, it is not too much for Him to make me live up to 200.”

As it is, we are still not sure if he is alive or not, as the church is yet to make an official statement.

Sunday 24th of October was a tragic day in the city of Abeokuta in Ogun State, when a middle-aged man Oluwagbeminija Rhodes allegedly drowned in the popular Ogun River while trying to rescue his son, Gbeminiyi who was drowning.

The tragedy occurred when Rhodes, a bus driver, and the pioneer chairman of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta Shuttle Bus Association, took his bus for washing at the bank of the river at Lafenwa end.

Vanguard gathered that Gbeminiyi, the son of the deceased who accompanied him to wash his car, suddenly missed his steps and fell into the river while playing at the bank. This prompted his father to quickly jump into the river in a bid to save him.

According to an eye witness, Rhodes was unable to rescue his son, but drowned in the process while Gbeminiyi was later rescued by people living by the river bank. The son was later rushed to the hospital where he was revived.

However, the floating corps was later recovered by some fishermen when it surfaced at Oriyanrin area, which is about three kilometres from where the tragedy occurred the next day.

The current chairman of MAPOLY Shuttle Bus Association, Mr. Adedolapo Adekunle confirmed the incident and said they were unable to recover the corpse as soon as the incident occurred due to the fact that the river was full.

“We heard about the incident on Sunday and we consulted the fishermen and other experts immediately but they told us that the river was full and that they had to wait for the body to float the third day or make attempt if there was sufficient sun on Monday.

“Luckily yesterday (Monday), it was sunny and his body was later recovered at Oriyanrin. We later paid for some rituals before his body was released,” he said.

The remains of the deceased was later committed to mother-earth in his yet to be completed building in Ikolaba community, Olomoore, Abeokuta North Local Government Area.
