The man at the center of a messy divorce proceeding has spoken again few days after his wife says her decision to end their marriage is final.

According to close sources who intimated NaijaGists.com late last night, Pastor Chris allegedly told some key church leaders during a recent meeting that Anita Oyakhilome’s decision to file for divorce is because of power tussle between him and her.

Pastor Chris said when he started Christ Embassy, Anita wasn’t there and when he married her, he only invited her to come over to help him and not to take over from him but as time goes on, she became agitated when he made some key leadership decisions that affected her.

He also said a similar thing during a leadership meeting that held back in May.

“I am here for your concerns about the ongoing domestic issue with my wife and I know it affects you directly, being the ones under her leadership. This is not an organization or a political party, so it’s not a place for you to air your opinion or scrutinize what we do.
We had a vision, started and you joined us. If you don’t like what we do, you can get out. Churches where members air their views never grow. Some pastors’ wives think when they marry a pastor they are equal to the pastor.

My wife thinks so, as a matter of fact, Rev. Tom was her pastor before I married her and Rev. Ray and Evang. Owase were her leaders long before I married her. How come she thinks she’s senior to them now? I already started Christ Embassy before I married her.
I didn’t marry her and said we should start Christ Embassy. I was already pastoring. I already set my sail and knew my direction before I married her. I only said come and help me. Be careful of the friends you keep.

My wife keeps friends who bring out the worst in her and help her see the worst in people instead of keeping friends that will help her vision especially as the wife of a global pastor like me.

Bitterness is prolonged and accumulated anger. My wife is always angry and bitter. Allegations are either false or twisted information. The current situation is not as a result of what I did or what I didn’t do.
I didn’t do anything to have caused an upheaval. You don’t join a woman to fight her husband. I’m not teaching you what is wrong, at least I have two girls who will one day marry and I want to them to enjoy it.

Our source told us last night that the Pastor tried all his effort to woo back Anita by sending elders in the church to talk to her but Anita didn’t give them a chance to talk to her… she reportedly walked out on them.

This and many other arrogance-related behavioural patterns exhibited by the preacher’s wife forced Pastor Chris to keep quiet over the matter until some concerned church leaders challenged him.

As we speak now, the man of God is reportedly seeking the face of God on what steps to take about his marital life.

A dethroned 16-year-old beauty queen from Myanmar, also known as Burma, said she won't return her bejeweled crown until pageant organizers apologise for calling her a liar and a thief.

According to the Telegraph, May Myat Noe - the country's first winner of an international beauty contest - said representatives of the Miss Asia Pacific World pageant lied about her age - saying she was 18 instead of 16 - and tried to pressure her into getting plastic surgery "from head to toe."

She  denied having Bosom  implants as claimed by David Kim, director of media for the South Korean-based pageant. He said the surgery was provided free of charge, part of efforts to boost the teen into super-stardom.
Mr Kim said Noe was stripped of her title last week because she was dishonest and unappreciative, and that she ran off with her tiara after learning of the decision.

Miss Noe said she boarded a plane for Myanmar before getting word.She said she did not intend to steal the crown, but also wasn't going to give it back without a "sorry," not just to her, but also to Myanmar.

A young Indian girl,young Mangli Munda is marrying a stray dog  to fight off evil spirits that her family believes she has. The dog was found by the woman's father. But she was forced to come out of hiding at the age of 20 to earn a living in order to care for her elderly parents, and take over running the family grocery shop.She said..

The parents of a Scottish private schoolgirl who travelled to Syria to join Islamic fighters have pleaded for her to return home .

Aqsa Mahmood, 20, left her Glasgow home in November after becoming radicalised and fled to Syria where she married an ISIS fighter.
She has since been inciting violence on social media, telling Jihadists who can't make it to Syria,to kill in Britain and emulate Lee Rigby's killers.

Her parents, Muzaffar and Khalida, said they were horrified that their 'sweet, peaceful, intelligent' child had joined jihadists in Syria and had hoped she would become a doctor in Britain.

In a statement today,the heartbroken parents said..
We still love you, Aqsa, but we now have to put your family, your brother and sisters first as you have betrayed us, our community and the people of Scotland when you took this step.
'You have torn the heart out of our family and changed our lives forever. Please come home.'
They added: 'Aqsa was always a very sweet, peaceful, intelligent child and inquisitive about everything.
'We had high hopes for her and would have loved for her to be a doctor and to save lives

'We dreamed that one day we would see her married with children but sadly that no longer looks likely.
'We have not seen our daughter since November of last year and can confirm that on her disappearance we immediately contacted Police Scotland and are grateful for their continued support.
'We found out ourselves within days that she had travelled through Turkey to Syria and subsequently married an ISIS fighter in February this year.
'As parents we would have liked for her to listen to us but we gave her everything possible in terms of love, freedom and education and she chose the path which we could never approve of.

ISIS are killing in the name of religion and claiming to defend the weak, but by joining with them our daughter is brainwashed and deluded and helping those engaged in genocide.

Some fraudsters have started profiting from the Ebola Virus Disease outbreak in Nigeria.

As we speak, fake Ebola Cassette Test kits are now on sale in Lagos.

In view of this, the Lagos State Government on Tuesday alerted members of the public to the sale of the fake kits, warning them not to patronise the dubious marketers.

According to a statement signed by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Mr Hakeem Bello, “the Ebola test kit, which is branded as ‘Rapid Response Canada with test results purportedly available in 10 minutes’ is a hoax.”

Bello warned that there are no Ebola test kits manufactured anywhere in the world, as the technique for its manufacture does not exist yet.

A man is currently cooling off in police detention after he abandoned a lady at the Ikoyi marriage registry and escaped with her four million naira.

The 45-year-old married father of three identified as Uzor Emmanuel recently played a fast game on a 42-year-old single lady identified Victoria Adeleye at the Federal Marriage Registry in Ikoyi Lagos.

Emmanuel who proposed to wealthy Victoria few months ago dumped her at the court premises during their wedding and escaped with her 4M Naira.

The wedding was subsequently called-off following Emmanuel’s disappearance.

Friends of the couple, who attended the wedding ceremony were left shell-shocked as marriage officials cancelled the wedding.

A source told our correspondent that the relationship between, Adeleye and Emmanuel blossomed after they met at a church in Isolo.

Unknown to Adelye, Emmanuel was married with three kids. He told her that he was still single and needed to marry since he was growing old.

Adeleye who was also eager to get a husband, showed interest and became an intimate friend with Emmanuel.

Shortly after courtship, Emmanuel proposed to marry her and she accepted. He reportedly moved into Adeleye’s flat at Bola Adeyinwa street Aswani, Isolo where they started living together as a couple without the knowledge of their pastor and members of the church.

To cover their tracks before the church, Emmanuel suggested to Adeleye they need to go to court to consummate the relationship legally.

Adeleye agreed and brought out some money with which they used to facilitate the marriage but on the day they were supposed to tie the knot, Emmanuel carried out the last of his plans.

The duo had arrived the registry with close friends but while they were waiting for court officials to commence the ceremony, Emmanuel excused himself and went outside the registry. From there he fled with her money and did not return to the hall.

The suspect was later arrested following a tip off. He then confessed that he had a wife with kids and she was only interested in Adeleye’s money.

He was charged before Isolo Magistrate’s court for obtaining under false pretence and stealing under the Criminal Code.

When he was arraigned, he pleaded not guilty. The presiding Magistrate, Mrs F.M. Kayode granted him bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.

He is remanded in prison custody at Kirikiri, Lagos pending when he will fulfill his bail condition.

The matter was adjourned till 2 October 2014 for trial.

Police sources said his wife refused to show up to facilitate his bail, saying what he did to the woman was bad.

The world football governing body, FIFA, has set a September 8 deadline for Nigeria for the country’s football administration to work according to set down statutes or be suspended from international football.

A FIFA letter sent to the Nigeria Football Federation on Wednesday read in part, “Following the decision by the FIFA Emergency Committee, FIFA has today, 3rd September 2014, sent a letter to the Nigeria Football Federation confirming that the NFF will be suspended with immediate effect should there still be persons claiming to have been elected to NFF positions on 26 August 2014 and occupying their offices on Monday, 8 September 2014 at 08.00 (Central European Time).

“The decision follows events linked to the NFF general assembly held on 26 August 2014. While the said general assembly was duly convened by the NFF Executive Committee to adopt a new roadmap leading to the NFF elections, some members proceeded to hold elections in the absence of the NFF President, who was being held by security forces for questioning.

“In a letter sent on 29 August 2014, FIFA confirmed that it would not recognise the results of the aforementioned elections and that the matter would be brought to the respective FIFA bodies should there still be persons claiming to have been elected and occupying the NFF offices at midnight on 1 September 2014. On expiry of the deadline, some people were still claiming to have been elected and were occupying the NFF premises.”

Lagos (NAN) – A 25-year-old sex worker, Anita Mbewu, who allegedly assaulted and tore the uniform of a policeman was on Tuesday charged before an Apapa Magistrates’ Court in  Lagos.

Mbewu, who resides at Ojo area of Lagos, is facing a two-count charge of assault and unlawful damage to properties.

The Prosecutor, John Iberedem, told the court that the accused committed the offenses on Aug. 24 at Katifa Hotel on Old Ojo Road, Kuje Amuwo, Lagos.

Iberedem said that the accused unlawfully assaulted and tore the uniform of Michael Udoh, while he was executing his lawful duty.

“The complainant said he learnt that the commercial sex workers in the hotel usually hid hoodlums and criminals so he decided to lead a team to raid the hotel.

“While they were searching for the hoodlums, Udoh saw the accused smoking a cigarette in public and ordered her to put it out.

“She refused and the policeman attempted to remove it from her lips, but as he drew close to her,  Mbewu just grabbed him and tore his uniform,” Iberedem stated.

The offences committed, he said, contravened provisions of Section 172 and 348 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

However, the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Section 172 prescribes three years imprisonment for serious assault, while Section 348 stipulates two-year jail term for unlawful damage.

The Senior Magistrate, Patrick Adekomaiya, granted the accused bail in the sum of N10, 000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case till Sept. 15 for trial.

Speaking to him via phone call, Omorogbe told Pulse.ng that Sir Victor single handedly built the car many years ago. "He can do a lot of things... engineering, sculturing," he said.
As for why Nigerians are getting to know about the legend's car-designing skills now, Omorogbe explains that, "he's been using the car over the years but today [Sept. 02] it was used for a video shoot [for one of his artistes]."

Canadian pop star Justin Bieber faces two more charges after been arrested in South Western Ontario, Canada Tuesday, marking another major hit with the law in less than a year.
The 20-year-old singer was taken for dangerous driving and assault following a collision between a minivan and an ATV that led to a physical altercation on Friday near his hometown of Stratford.
According to a spokesperson for Perth County OPP, Bieber went to a police station and was arrested, then released on a promise to appear in court Sept. 29 and never showed up.
OPP Constable Kees Wijnands said there were no injuries as a result of the collision, but could not say whether there were any injuries from the altercation.
Bieber was photographed recently in southwestern Ontario riding on an ATV vehicle with actress and singer Selena Gomez.
According to reports, Bieber's ATV collided with a minivan on Friday, which was what led to the altercation.
The singer was also expected to appear in court in Toronto next week for an assault charge he picked up late last year.

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a suspected armed robber, Olalekan Ajibola, who allegedly operated on some streets in Mushin, Lagos.

One of Ajibola’s victims, identified simply as Ogungbe, had tipped-off the police on the suspect’s activities.Around 3am on the fateful day, Ajibola had gone to Ogungbe’s residence on Folarin Street, Mushin and had attempted to break open the door with his axe.It was learnt that Ogungbe’s wife raised the alarm, while the husband called the police from the Olosan division who came to arrest the suspect.


Ajibola, who hails from Abebi in Ibadan, Oyo State, told Punch that an axe was his only weapon for robbery, adding that he had operated with it on five different occasions, hacking uncooperative victims.He said....
“I do not live with my parents. They are divorced. My father is a commercial driver in Lagos. He shuttles between the Oyingbo and Bariga areas. He also does building contractor jobs. My mother, however, lives in Ibadan. She is mentally sick and is confined to the house. She was formerly a chemist but she stopped working when she fell sick.I learnt to rob while in Oyingbo. When I go out for operations, I carry my axe. I have operated with it on five different occasions. When I enter houses, I ask people for money, phones and other valuables. If they resist, I will hack them with the axe. I use the axe for cutting victims who resist.I was brought up in a hard way. That is why I also don’t dress well. I rob in order to survive. I eat at any restaurant I find myself. I sneak in and out of them to have my meals. My father does not know or care where I am. It was only my mother who took care of me initially.My father left my mum when her mental sickness started. Since then, I had been wandering around till I got to Lagos. I was learning work before in Ibadan. I also sold clothes. I attended a primary school in Ibadan. That was the only education I had.”

There is serious concern as eleven commercial jets went missing last month, after militant group Libyan Dawn overtook the Libyan international airport .The attention of the U.S. government has been drawn to the fact that the planes could be used in attacks to mark the anniversary of 9/11 later this month.
An Official told Free-Beacon,
'There are a number of commercial airliners in Libya that are missing,'We found out on September 11 what can happen with hijacked planes.'
On Sunday,  the Libyan government announced that they had lost control of the state capital to radical Islamic groups Ansar al Sharia and Libyan Dawn. Ansar al Sharia has ties to the Islamic State (also known as ISIS).
The US are reportedly working to track down the missing planes.

My hubby hasn’t worked since we met, our car has died and we are out of money to fix it.

We are very behind on our rent, and my husband has made it clear that he does not want me trying to get any kind of government assistance. Nor does he want me asking him any more work-related questions of any kind. He wants to work from home and will not consider doing any kind of other work to make ends meet. I am really trying to keep my mouth shut but am struggling as of late. We will be facing eviction soon.

My parents live very close by and are aware that my husband is either sleeping or on the computer. My mom doesn’t say anything but often offers us food, which is well-received. I make a small amount of money working from home, but it is not enough to keep us afloat.

Should I just quietly allow this to happen to us? I wouldn’t worry about it so much if our children were not so young. They are 4, 2, and 1. My husband is not a Christian, but I love him and think he is a good man, but he is making me crazy! If you have any advice on what I can do, please let me know.
