A man in the UK has been arrested and jailed after he molested a pregnant woman and forced her to Bosom feed him.
50-year-old Kevin Gibbons subjected the woman and another victim to horrifying sex crimes, The Mirror reports.
According to testimony presented before a Liverpool Crown Court, Gibbons molested both women and imprisoned them despite claiming that he "lived by the word of God and practiced his teachings."
His pregnant victim reportedly suffered a breakdown after the ordeal which included being forced to Bosom feed her attacker.
Detective Constable Maerevoet, who was involved in the case, said:
"The facts of this appalling case speak for themselves."Gibbons is one of the most vile, controlling, abusive and cowardly men I have ever encountered during all my years in policing and I have no hesitation in saying that he deserves every second of his lengthy prison sentence.”
Gibbons has reportedly been sentenced to 25 years imprisonment for the sex crimes, false imprisonment and child abuse.
 

The Ikare-Akoko Customary Court in Ondo state was the scene of a mild drama as a man reportedly demanded that his estranged wife return all the kitchen utensils he bought for her during their marriage.
55-year-old Emmanuel Asala pleaded with the court to make his wife, Busayo, return the household items that she had left their matrimonial home with, Leadership reports.
Asala reportedly said that he wants to reclaim his belongings, including cooking pots, a stove, spoons, a grinding stone, a deep freezer, some plates and a broom among other items.
The complainant also said that his wife had stolen N85, 000 from him and was also indebted to him to the tune of N110, 000.
The wife however denied the allegations and the court ruled that it could not act due to a lack of evidence.

A woman in Ondo has been arrested and taken before a court in the state after she was accused of killing her lover, Vanguard reports.
23-year-old Ajowele Busayo, a primary school teacher, was said to have set one Anthony David on fire in the Basiri Area of Akure, the state capital.
The Prosecutor, ASP Ayodele Atandeyi, reportedly told the court that Awojele committed the crime on July 14 at about 9.00 a.m.
The victim was rushed to a hospital after the incident but he succumbed to his injuries and died.
The court has ordered that the suspect be remanded at the Olokuta prison pen

Kuala Lumpur (Xinhua/NAN) A 24-year-old Zimbabwean student is currently under observation for Ebola in eastern Malaysian state of Sarawak, on Monday a local official in Health department said.

The student fell ill on Saturday and had been transferred to Sarawak General Hospital isolation ward from a private hospital.

Sarawak Public Health Assistant Minister, Jerip Susil, said that the student had no related signs to Ebola except for symptoms of high fever.

“We will know for sure if this is Ebola, once the test results is out within a week,’’ he added.

According to the report, the student never left the state, but came into contact with other foreign students who recently returned from their home country.

However, the Malaysian Health Ministry confirmed that there were no confirmed Ebola cases in the country.
 

A military court sitting in Abuja on Monday found 13 out of the 18 soldiers standing trial for mutiny and other offences guilty.

Twelve of the convicted soldiers were sentenced to death, five were discharged and acquitted while the remaining one was jailed for 28 days with hard labour.The soldiers had on May 14, 2014 fired shots at the General Officer Commanding the newly created 7 Division of Nigerian Army, Maj. Gen. Ahmed Mohammmed, in Maiduguri.

The act is viewed in the military as mutiny.Those discharged are David Robert, Mohammed Sani, Iseh Ubong, Sebastine Gwaba and Naaman Samuel.Jeremiah Echocho was sentenced to 28 days with hard labour.


Those who were sentenced to death are Jasper Braidolor, David Musa, Friday Onuh, Yusuf Shuaibu, Igonmu Emmanuel, Andrew Ugbede, Nurudeen Ahmed, Ifeanyi Alukagba, Alao Samuel, Amadi Chukwuma, Alan Linus, and Stephen Clement.

They were found guilty of criminal conspiracy, mutiny, attempt to commit murder (shooting of the vehicle of the GOC); insubordination to a particular order; insubordination and false accusation.

The President of the Court Martial, Maj. Gen. C.C. Okonkwo, said the 12 soldiers were found guilty of three of the most heinous charges bars.The legal team of the convicts pleaded with the court martial to temper justice with mercy.The team reeled out pathetic stories about the family backgrounds of the convicted servicemen.One was said to be the only son of his octogenarian widowed mother.Another is the father of a five-month-old baby.

The defence team argued that giving them maximum sentence would do more harm than good, adding that it would increase the agony of their dependants.The attack on the GOC and his men reportedly occurred when they visited the cantonmen
The Maimalari Cantonment is the headquarters of 7 Division, the newest Division of the Nigerian Army.Military sources said that soldiers at the cantonment had been complaining of insufficient ammunition, food and allowances prior to the GOC’s visit.

They were also reportedly unhappy and their morale was at its lowest ebb because there had not been troop rotation for a long time since their deployment to combat Boko Haram terrorists in the North- East.

“The apparently agitated soldiers, on sighting the corpses of their slain colleagues became hysteric. Some opened fire on the GOC, who was lucky to have escaped unhurt. However, the bullets hit and seriously injured some of his bodyguards, who also fled to safety,”

3 men are currently being investigated in South Africa following the discovery of a whopping $9.3 million dollar bills in suit cases from Abuja.

The 2 Nigerian men and one Israeli man were arrested in South Africa on Friday September 5, 2014 in Johannesburg South Africa while trying to smuggle the large amount of money into the country.

According to City Press, the money bundled in $100 bills was packed into 3 suitcases with a Nigerian crew and piloted by one Captain Tunde Ojongbede.

Upon questioning, the men said the money is meant to purchase weapons for the Nigerian Security Services (SSS).

Spokesperson of the South African Revenue Service (SARS), Marika Muller in a statement said the money was seized at the Lanseria airport, northwest of Johannesburg

“The passengers’ luggage was searched after Customs officials detected irregularities. The money was detained as it was undisclosed/undeclared and above the prescribed legal limit,”.

The governor of Edo State Nigeria, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole has reportedly remarried.

4 years after losing his first wife Clara to cancer, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole has picked a new wife for himself. He stepped out with his new wife at the 50th birthday celebration of Toyin Saraki, the wife of Senator Bukola Saraki. The party, which took place in London, had many political gladiators in attendance. Most of them were at the party with their wives, and so also was Comrade Oshiomole. It was with utmost joy that he introduced his wife to his friends and associates at the party.

The new wife is reportedly to shuttle the state house and the comrade’s hometown in Iyambo, Edo State.

Sources disclosed that Oshiomole’s new wife, is a native of Urhomi, and is a Law graduate of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. Already, a secret traditional marriage took place at her parents’ home in Urhomi a few months ago.

Mr Isiaka Olakanmi Gbadamosi who is said to be from Ibadan, Oyo State is reported to be one of those being investigated in the aftermath of the Sanusi years as the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Sources revealed that in recent times, there have been several allegations flying around on the probability of an existing account in the apex bank from which the activities of some notorious sects and organisations are being funded.
Though nothing is confirmed or denied yet on this issue, the latest development we gathered has given the Federal Government and the new Governor the required impetus to dig further.

Our source revealed that Mr Gbadamosi was caught unaware in the web of this investigations as he was only recently moved along with six directors in a major shake up ordered by Mr Godwin Emefiele, this move was made on June 23, along with the rearrangement of the portfolios of his deputies.

The investigations, we gathered, was very discreet and if the preliminary reports are anything to go by, Mr Gbadamosi might soon be summoned to explain how he came about this huge figure in his account.

“Even if the man had never touched a kobo from his salaries and allowances since he came on board in CBN in October 1999, he will find it extremely difficult to explain this figure.
