The thing you should ask yourself is this,, Is there any where in the bible where God specifically chose a wife or husband for any one in the bible? When Adam saw Eve, he was the one that recognize Eve has bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh. When Abraham wanted to chose wife for Isaac, Abraham only instructed his servant where to chose from but not who to chose and the servant committed the journey into God's hand. Finally, the only command the bible gave us is not to be equally yoke with unbeliever. If truly both of you belong to the same Father 'God' I don't see why that father will condemn one of his child from marrying another.
