TO AVOID UNNECESSARY MISCONCEPTIONS, LET’S UNDERSTAND IT CORRECTLY. ALTHOUGH, EDUCATION IS NOT THE ONLY POSSIBLE MEANS TO SUCCESS. HOWEVER, IN WHATEVER WAY WE LOOK AT IT, EDUCATION IS VERY IMPORTANT, LET’S GET THAT FACT CLEAR. EDUCATION IS VERY USEFUL, EDUCATION PLAYS A HUGE ROLE IN SOMEONE’S LIFE. EDUCATION IS ONE KEY THAT COULD POSSIBLY OPEN ANY LOCKED DOORS. EDUCATION HAS A PLACE, EDUCATION IS CONFIDENCE, EDUCATION POSITION’S A PERSON IN THE SOCIETY. EDUCATION ENABLES YOU TO AVOID INSULTS FROM YOUR PEERS. EDUCATION SUPPORTS YOU TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD, EDUCATION IS A LIFE TIME INSURANCE. WHY DO MOST WEALTHY PEOPLE GO BACK TO THE UNIVERSITY TO HAVE A DEGREE? YOU MIGHT HAVE ALL THE FAME AND FORTUNE IN THE WORLD, BUT SOMEHOW YOU FEEL SOMETHING VITAL IS MISSING. SO, ANYONE SAYING THAT EDUCATION IS NOT IMPORTANT, THAT PERSON IS A DISCOURAGED ENTITY.
Your clarification is not even clear enough. Being educated does not necessarily mean you must have a degree to be called an educated person. This is where you got it wrong. There are people out there with vast knowledge. You have so many people out there who are authorities in so many areas.Bring up a topic, they will educate you in any topic that is been brought up before them. They will contribute immensely in any area of discussion, be it business, management and the rest. These people have general knowledge. The only thing that they do not have is a degree. Some are uni drop out, while some never stepped into you uni but as a result of self development. Some even prefer to so short causes "certification" . Would you term this people as uneducated? You cannot. They only do not have a degree. Degree is just a level of qualification.It does not define how sound you are education wise. Take for example Bill Gate, he is a uni drop out, but that does not mean he is not educated. He is a genius, better than 50% of his lecturers even as a student.He obviously felt why was he wasting his time when he is self tutored.He does not need his lecturer for him to achieve what he needs to achieve in his career. If we all can achieve what we need to know in our various discipline without stepping into the university, then university will be needless.Being is not by obtaining a degree.Education are in different categories.Education by certification, education by obtaining a diploma in one discipline etc. These are all mere quification. Education is your knowledge as you go through the faces of studies in different categories. It could be self studies. So, guys let's get it right. I had a couple of white guys I met in Cyber in the UK during one of the conferences for cyber Security/computer foresensic experts in the Uk.Most of these guys do not have a degree in this discipline but are certified, and they are very grounded.what some of them knew, some of us with degree in this field do not know it.Despite the fact that we all studied in the UK universities. Can you now tell me you will term this people uneducated??? You can't. Understand the basics brooo
