Forum / Politics / Re: Tell Your Youths To Go Back To Farming - Buhari Tell Traditional Rulers During Meeting |
on: 1-07-2016 08:45 AM
| Na d thing Wey dey feed us be dat before we con find oil.. So it makes sense..
I guess the Buharitarian Theory has taking a greater part of your Brian. The said Buhari who first became head of state at the age of 41 and came in again at the age of 73 is telling us the youth to go back to farming, not just farming but subsistence farming so that him and his group of cruel old men can keep on ruling us to destruction and you are here telling me it makes sense. Guy,, open ur eyes don't let political affiliation ruin you.

Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: What I Love Most About Gistmania & Naijapals and Things I Hate About Naijapals Too (Page 2) |
on: 21-06-2016 01:19 AM
| Firstly, I appreciate Naijapals for this opportunity that many of us have being longing for. What I really like on this site is that members are allowed to post topic to different forums without any hindrances. What then will I say I don't like about naijapals? its simple, some persons are giving higher priority over others on this forum for the fact that they are members of admin or so and had led them in abusing this advantage over others. For example, few days ago one naijapals admin by the name ngfineface was able to make a personal feud between her and one Dr kison a public discussion and making it feel like Dr Kison is the one totally on the wrong side and trying to justify herself only for the fact that she is an admin. However, my recommendations is as follows. From the example above, Assuming Dr Kison has the same opportunity like ngfineface, he might likely post an article that may portray ngfineface in Bad light. So, it will be better for naijapals to operate with a single admin by removing all Admin advantages which is accrued to some persons and allowing all members to post all types of topics. Then Using headline rules, The single admin will then check on topics posted by members before making them public by sorting the most important and glaring topic and at same time eliminating absurd topic such as celebrities pictures that does not make any general sense thereby serving as a gatekeeper for naijapals. Also, there should be a prize set aside for members whose topic appears more on naijapals to boost competition among members thereby leading to more credible and fun filled topics and stories. Finally, Naijapals should be a place where all members should feel safe and not a place where abusive words are seen as a part of members. So naijapals should penalise abusive comments and replies, this will make naijapals a more safer and mature forum for all. I pray it only gets better here on naijapals. Gracias. | | |

| Lately, there had being a lot of abusive comments/reply and war of words between individuals right here on Naijapals and some persons even made it a perpetual habit. Though some comments can be seen as provocative, we can still drive our point home without using abusive words and making others feel unintellectual and unprofessional as could be seen in the case of ngfineface. As for Dr Kison, as a professional you don't say things you are not totally sure of either on social media or not, it has damaging effect on Your personality and reputation. Some time ago, someone replied to your comment on a similar health topic like this calling you a fake Doctor instead of you responding with a constructive and a convincing statement, you turned to giving him a load of abuse by saying "eventually, some day he may be rushed to your clinic and you will inject him with some sort of poisonous drugs to kill him." You made that statement thinking its just a social media stuff but believe me a stranger who knew that statement came from you will definitely flee from your Hospital/Clinic. Dr kison, you took it too personal by sending her that PM. Finally, I will advice naijapals admin to diversify a means of reducing the rate of verbal abuse in the name of gaining NP points by banning/suspending those found wanting from replying to others comment for a specific time. I stopped commenting because of relative issue like this. | | |

Forum / Politics / Re: FG Deploys 5 Warships, 100 Gunboats & Fighter Jets To Battle Niger Delta Avengers |
on: 31-05-2016 09:34 AM
| Bitter Smiles as I tell a short story " once upon a time the region now called the niger delta were occupied by farmers, fishermen, and traders they all lived peacefully, there was no government, just traditional rulers, history was preserve by word of mouth, until the colonial masters sprang from nowhere, time elapsed and the country nigeria was born, yes they were happy to be an independent nation, subsequently oil was discovered in these regions, with time it was grouped as The Niger Delta Region. Our traditional rulers watched their powers leashed from them by the government, our farmers watched their crops die from spillage and harmful chemicals, our fisher men watch the fishes die from pollution and toxic, we wait for rain to drink a some- what manageable clean water, the rest of the story can be summaries as marginalisation of the Niger people. Laws are developed by those with a living conscience, however some laws are made to suit the selfish bidding of some group of persons in power or in control. Question for you the Federal government and the people of this nation; 1. Are you going to kill our generation who had being on this land from memorial just because you spot oil in their land? 2. Where do you expect the youth of this region to work, having gotten a fair knowledge of the fact that their region is responsible for feeding the nation of more than 180 million persons and running the economy? Should they go to the farm land that had been destroyed by spillage or to the river that had been contaminated ? 3. What is too much for the Region to ask, Is it because they are minority? Is minority a licences for marginalisation? 4. How do you wish to tell the history of our people, guess, they were killed because government want what belongs to them or maybe not, they were killed because they tried to take government land? I think you will need more than Greek philosophers and wise men to carve out that deceit, Or maybe it is just another route like America and the red Indians. Deep breath 5. Sharia law is to Zafara as marginalisation is the the south, why do you judge with sentiment? This is our land, our Children inheritance just as we inherited it from our forefathers, I can't go to the north or to the west to claim what is not mine, don't be blind to truth , treat us right, don't fight us. | | |

Forum / Politics / Re: Petrol To Sell For N145/Litre In Nigeria As Buhari Officially Removes Fuel Subsidy |
on: 12-05-2016 08:57 AM
| Abeg oh..mak somebody no vex fr here oh,i need some1 way go help explain in a simple english wetin Subsidy mean..becos somtimes dat word too the confuse me.
Fuel subsidy is the money paid by the Federal Government of Nigeria to reduce the cost of refining petroleum products, especially fuel. Now FG is saying they are no longer going to pay this money hence increasing the price of petrol rather they will diversify the money for other projects. meaning individual consumers of petroleum product will be the once paying for the cost of refining.
