42  Forum / Relationships & Romance / Drama As Soldier Catches His Wife in Bed With Her Married Co-worker on: 25-03-2024 09:29 PM

Two teachers from Westridge Primary School in Belvedere, Zimbabwe, were caught having s3x in the early hours of Monday, March 25.

Local publications reported that Thomas Chikanga, 51, and Nomathamsanqa Nyathi, 36, had been having an affair since last month before being nabbed.

It is alleged that Nyathi took advantage of her husband’s absence as a soldier to engage in the affair. She’s been accused of introducing Chikanga to her children, including her 16-year-old daughter. She reportedly told them that Chikanga’s visits were related to his role as a teacher, concealing the true nature of their relationship.

Chikanga would have sleepovers at Nyathi’s Budiriro home and then slip away to his Highfield home before the crack of dawn to avoid being seen by the children. However, the two were recently caught in bed when Nyathi’s husband, Noel Matiza, unexpectedly returned from Kadoma following a tip-off.

Speaking to H-Metro, Chikanga claimed that Nyathi had informed him that she had separated from her husband, which was the reason he had spent numerous nights at her place. Chikanga, who is also married, mentioned that there was no reason to continue the affair since Nyathi had lied to him.

He said “She lied to me that she had separated with her husband and that is why I slept here several times. We fell in love at the school where we share subjects for one class and we felt for each other and I had planned to take her in as my second wife. We started dating sometime in February this year. I do not see it right to continue with the affair after learning that Nomathamsanqa is still with her husband. I cannot be used to settle her differences with her husband.”

46  Forum / The Buzz Central / VIDEO: Solomon Buchi Tackles Lady Who Spoke Against Pastor Funke Adejumo’s Teaching on Marriage on: 25-03-2024 06:15 AM

Self-acclaimed life coach, Solomon Buchi, has tackled a lady who kicked against Pastor Funke Adejumo's teaching on how single ladies must behave when visiting their would-be parents-in-law for the first time.

Reacting to Adejumo's teaching, an X user @faree_for_real, said;

‘’If I’m going to visit your parents and they test me with these weird rules, just know I’m going to deliberately fail. I’m not willing to go through lengths to prove that I’m “prim and proper”. I’m not willing to be held on misogynistic standards. If the fact that their son loves me is not enough, I’m not interested.''

Solomon spotted her tweet and was irritated that she likened the teaching to Misogyny. He argued that all the clergywoman said was just basic life rules that people should follow. He went on to say he feels sorry for the men who will marry women with such mentality.

‘’Shut up! I am absolutely tired of how women plaster misogyny on everything. That video is basically talking about social decorum, comportment and etiquette in the culture of the Nigerian society be it Igbo, Hausa or Yoruba.

You need to be accepted by the family you are married into. It's not something that will happen every time but it is better that you are.

If you are going to meet your in-laws for the first time, you need to comport yourself. What is misogyny? What is if they are going to test me with all these weird rules? What is that?! What is misogynistic about you having to not drag meat, spill oil everywhere, you having to be comported? What really is misogynistic about that? ‘’

He said the same rules apply to men as well as they have to comport themselves whenever they visit their in-laws for the first time.

50  Forum / Sports / Dani Alves’ Family in Search of Loan to Secure His Bail After Being Convicted of S3xual Assault on: 25-03-2024 05:48 AM

Dani Alves was convicted of s3xual assault earlier this month, over an incident that took place in Barcelona in December 2022

The former footballer has since appealed that verdict, and in the meantime, he has hoped to secure his temporary release from prison.

After numerous attempts were denied over the last 14 months, Alves was granted bail earlier this week by the presiding judge in his case.

For €1m, he would be allowed to leave jail, with the conditions that his Spanish and Brazilian passports were seized to avoid him leaving the country, and that he stays far away from his alleged victim.

The problem for Alves is that his bail is yet to be paid.

He is unable to do so himself as he is broke, and Neymar’s father – who had helped him make a compensation payment earlier this year – has refused to pay this time around.

MD have now reported that his family, especially his mother and brother, are scrambling to secure a loan, which would cover the bail amount.

If they can do so in the next 24 hours, then Alves would be allowed to leave prison on Monday, for the time being at least.

Daniela Vera, an 81-year-old woman from Aral Moreira, Brazil, unfortunately passed away after undergoing surgery to remove a 56-year-old lithopedion, a calcified fetus, from her abdomen

She had unknowingly carried the fetus since her youth, with doctors dismissing her complaints of stomach pain over the years. Despite having seven children and 40 grandchildren, Daniela was worried about a lump in her tummy, but tests still didn’t reveal the calcified baby.

The condition, known as lithopedion, is a rare medical phenomenon that occurs when a fetus dies during an ectopic pregnancy, a condition where the fertilized egg implants outside the uterus. In some cases, the body is unable to expel the tissue naturally. The body then surrounds the dead tissue with calcium carbonate, creating a stone-like mass .

The surgery to remove the lithopedion was successful. However, post-operative complications arose. Dr. Patrick Dezir, head of the health department at the Ponta Pora Hospital where Vera was treated, explained, “She suffered an infection after surgery. The baby was not causing any major problems throughout most of her life, but the surgery itself caused complications.” Sadly, Vera succumbed to the infection the following day.

Rising from a meeting of the Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers in Asaba, the monarchs, in a five-point communiqué issued at the end of the meeting, condemned the killings.

Council Chairman and Orodje of Okpe, Major-General Felix Mujakpuero (retd), Orhue I, while commiserating with the immediate families of the slain officers, the Nigerian Army and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, prayed that God grant their souls eternal rest.

The royal fathers also appealed to the Nigerian Army to carry out their search for the perpetrators of the killing of the gallant officers in line with global best practices.

Alleging sabotage in the exercise, he questioned the quality and quantity of food he saw as against the one approved by the government.

Lifting a packed food in a nylon, he said, “Look at this nonsense, who gave you materials to cook? Don’t let me come back and see this repeat itself. I couldn’t sleep because of the news I have been getting about this exercise.

“We will not accept dishonesty and mismanagement of public resources. It is imperative to note that the allocated funds for this initiative are meticulously documented at each center.”

54  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / BEWARE of Fake Oil & Gas Jobs - NAPTIP Raises Alarm on New Method of Trafficking Nigerians on: 24-03-2024 06:56 PM

Young Nigerians have been warned by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) to be cautious of fraudulent oil and gas job offers in West African countries.

The agency disclosed that it uncovered a new ploy by some human traffickers exploiting coordinated global brand trademarks and offering unrealistic oil and gas job offers to traffic unsuspecting youths and other classes of people to neighbouring West African countries for various forms of exploitation.

A statement on Sunday by NAPTIP Communication Officer, Adekoye Vincent, said that the Director-General of NAPTIP, Prof Fatima Waziri–Azi, revealed the alarming trend at the agency’s headquarters in Abuja while discussing emerging trends in human trafficking for 2024.

Titled ‘Beware of Fake Oil and Gas Jobs in West African Countries... NAPTIPS Alerts Nigerians On New Tricks By Human Traffickers,’ the anti-human trafficking agency said it had redoubled its efforts recently through enhanced partnership, "collaboration, diligent prosecution, and extensive awareness campaigns aimed at bolstering its operations, resulting in a significant increase in convictions of human traffickers."

The statement quoted the NAPTIP DG as emphasising the need for comprehensive enlightenment strategies to equip Nigerians with timely and accurate information to reduce their vulnerability.

Waziri-Azi said, "As part of our comprehensive enlightenment strategies to equip Nigerians with timely and accurate information to reduce their vulnerability, we have received reports indicating that traffickers have adopted new tactics to lure unsuspecting victims, predominantly to Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Liberia, and other West African nations.

"Under the guise of lucrative employment opportunities in gold mining and oil companies, victims are enticed with promises of monthly incomes as high as Nine Hundred Dollars ($900.00), which, as always, are blatant lies."

"Victims are often instructed to bring up to Eight Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N850,000) for documentation and other logistical expenses. Upon arrival at their destination, traffickers confiscate this money, along with the victims' phones and other personal belongings," the statement quoted her to have said.

"The targeted demographic includes male and female victims aged between 15 and 35 years old. They are typically trafficked through the waterways of Ode Jetty in Lagos en route to Benin Republic and other parts of the West African region. Some victims are also trafficked via land routes."

Waziri–Azi, however, reiterated her earlier appeal to Nigerians to exercise caution, ask questions, and seek a second opinion before accepting any tempting offers.

"Do not allow desperation to cloud your judgment," the statement said.

"NAPTIP remains committed to combating human trafficking and protecting the rights and dignity of all Nigerians. For further information or to report suspected cases of human trafficking, please contact: 07030000203 or 627 (Only on the MTN Network)."
