GoldenCity Entertainment Nigeria officially announced Ononuju Natasha as the winner of 2016 edition of  QueenOfTheCityNigeria2016

Ononuju Natasha has emerged the winner of the 2016 edition of the Queen of the City Nigeria Online Contest after beating 53 other participants.

The contest which was conducted online by GoldenCity Entertainment Nigeria lasted for two weeks and a 22 year old Ononuju Natasha from IMO State, emerged the winner.

According to the CEO of GoldenCity Nigeria, Mr. Nelly Michael (Candy).
Queen of the City Nigeria Online Contest is a platform that Grooms, Promotes and Manages Young Nigerian Models.
He Added that "Queen of the City Nigeria is an online female photo contest, where models both those in the stardom and up comers are promoted and exposed into the realm of Modelling/Entertainment.
This is a way or another medium of making young talented Nigerian girls stars in their dream of becoming part of the Entertainment industry so as to promote the industry by exploring talents".
(Nigeria is blessed with beautiful/talented/young girls who can compete in looks with modelling stars anywhere in the world, but until they are discovered, the world will not know they exist)

On realizing that she is the Queen of the City Nigeria 2016, Queen Ononuju Natasha who hails from IMO State, said it was a dream come true for her.

In celebration mood, she said:
“It wasn’t easy at all because all the girls had what it takes to wear the crown. It was a huge competition which I learnt a lot from and I am mostly grateful to God Almighty for getting me where I am today and Huge Thanks To GoldenCity Nigeria.

As the Queen of the City Nigeria 2016, Ononuju Natasha will be working hand in hand with the management of GoldenCity Entertainment Nigeria to Bring to reality her dreams and that of the brand.

This very simple but down to earth Beauty Queen, who was in the news 2weeks ago over a celebrated cultural party for kids with special needs is at it again this time she tagged her outing "CHARITY FUNFAIR" which was gracefully celebrated by her for displaced kids in the Area 1 Games Village axis of FCT. 
          The event recorded great success, fun, fantastic prizes, enough to eat, drink and merry over. There were breathtaking games, lucky dip and emotional moments of joyful reactions. However, HRM Queen Carmelita Akieh wishes to use this medium to thank all who contributed to her project as well as all the Beauty Queens who came from far and near. Her gratitude is well expressed. 
            She will be in the news yet again n guess what? For something bigger this time. Let's keep our fingers crossed and watch out!‎

Following her unveiling as Miss Crystal Nigeria, Queen Torty Olanma releases stunning photos to disclose her new queenly status to her fans and admirers.

Princess as she is fondly called is an undergraduate student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University with overwhelming passion for ‎music and movies.‎ The light-skinned beauty queen who has done several adverts, magazine shoots, fashion and brand endorsements, recently dazzled her fans with these gorgeous shoots.

The soft-spoken and talented beauty queen is already gearing up to take up her pet-project of touching lives and making impact with her crown.

The inhabitants of Benin Republic  was on stand still recently as reigning face of Idoma carnival, queen Ashley Yusuf and face of culture Africa, queen Jennifer  okechukwu  touched down the street to show love to the less privileged kids at the rural area in Pekardis, Benin Republic.

The project  exercise was themed "Reaching out to the children in African countries" with a purpose of helping the lives of children abroad in Africa with specification to Benin Republic.

The project  was a huge success as foodstuffs,reading  materials plus other goodies were distributed to the kids and their parents.

While addressing the media team, the beauty queens expressed their thought  and objectives  for the project. Here's what they said,
"The purpose of this is to help them remember we are all privileged to enjoy whatever wealth ,frivolities and sweetness of the world we are enjoying today regardless of our personalities and offices". 

This is no doubt a great move and one that  needs to be emulated by other queens.

Reigning face of culture  Africa, Queen Jennifer  okechukwu was honored with yet another Humanitarian award just weeks after getting  the first one at Nigeria Reliable icon award.

The prestigious  award was presented to the beauty  queen at the grand finale of Miss Tourism Ebonyi for her love and kindness towards mankind and to appreciate  her for standing  out as a hardworking queen over the year.

The beauty  queen is already  making plans for her next project  which centers on touching lives and reaching  out to the less privileged across  the boarders.

It was a memorable day for reigning  face of culture Africa, Queen Okechukwu Jennifer as she was Honoured at the just concluded Nigeria Reliable Icon Award 2016.

The Enugu state model who has been hugely involved in touching lives of many Nigerians with her numerous  pet projects was reckoned as Outstanding Beauty Queen Of The Year at the colourful and star-studded event held recently in Bayelsa.

Expressing her delight after receiving  the award, the curvaceous  beauty  queen thanked the organiser of the event and everyone who has been supporting her since her reign and pledged to carryout  more projects  before she finally  handover.

Reigning Face of Culture Africa, Queen Jennifer  okechkwu is currently on a Cultural Tour to Dubai, Educating, Promoting and showcasing the Nigeria Culture to the World.

The Enugu born beauty queen who has been responsible  in carrying out various projects  this year is yet on another move to show off the African culture  to the world at large.

Reigning face of culture Africa queen Jennifer okechukwu marked her birthday on 17July and hosted friends and colleagues at Nippon event center,Abuja .
It was quite a view as celebrities and high profile personnel in Abuja got hosted in a classy dinner party to mark the birthday of the popular beauty queen, Okechukwu Jennifer as she pulled her friends and fans to the much anticipated celebration.
The dinner which started with a colourful table settings and varieties of dishes saw the celebrant taking series of photos with her friends.
Among notable names that turned up are Hon Roland Owualah(CEO Face of culture Nigeria/Africa),Mr and Mrs James Oche,Beelee culture,Emmanuel Akubueze(CEO Face of News land),Alex Nwankwo among other persons.

Miss New Nigeria World 2016 Northern Queen, HRM Carmelita Akieh, stepped into the VIP Lounge of the prestigious AFRICAN CENTRE BAR n LOUNGE in Kano State last weekend, July 15, 2016 to be precise which birthed the dawn of an unequalled celebration.

DJ SWAGS' big band crooned Samklef's "Birthday" in the background. Brightly coloured boa draped sequin-adorned chairs, square shaped velvet boxes sat in the centre of each table and an enviable group of guests all dressed in white (colour of the day), perched proudly in designated positions. MC Fat Mike wasn't a bad idea for the event as he thrilled the guests to rib cracking jokes.

Starboy Studio was right on point to capture the height of the event that ranged from opening prayer, cutting of the cake, toast, dance to "item 7." However, worthy of note is the toast to more celebrations, achievements and more "crowns" led by Queen Ladi Haruna, MNE Queen of Nollywood Hospitality.

Miss Glory Brown a 23 years old graduate of History and International Relations from Abia State who represented Rivers State beat off 10 other delegates to emerge as the winner of Miss Celebrity Nigeria 2016.

The event which took place in heartbeat of Portharcourt on the 25th of June 2016 witnessed massive turn up as celebrities and high profile personnel graced the maiden edition of the prestigious pageant event.

While been asked about what she had to say as been the winner, She stated
"I am very happy i won Miss Celebrity Nigeria even though the struggle was tough and excruciating.I didn't loose my hope inspite of Challenges.Rather i inched along Patiently and Confidently with the ardent hope that every difficulty must be doomed with a match of Progress . Today am been Celebrated because life affords no higher pleasure than that of surmounting difficulties passing from one step of success to the other, forming new hope and when seen actualize, it is the highest human felicity". My advice to everyone out there is don't give up on your dream,keep trying until you achieve your goals. And I'll try my possible best to reach out to Nigerians.

Modelssphere team recently chatted with Ifunanya Igbobi, owner and creative director of rising Nigerian femalewear brand Weckx Design.Ifunanya is a seasoned fashion editor/stylist turned designer whose works of fashion imagery have graced the covers of editorials such as Four Wall Magazine and RedSheet Magazine.Her vision for the brand goes beyond finely tailored suits as she seeks to “redefine Africa’s sartorial identity.”
In this interview, we discuss her foray into the world of fashion, the challenges she faces as a female wear designer and the future of the Weckx Design brand.

Modelssphere:Hi Ify, tell us a bit about yourself.

CEO of Weckx design _intl::My name is ifunanya Emmanuella lgbobi, I hail from Anambra state,Ihiala local government.Am presently a student of unilag studying sociology,a model, a two time ex-beauty queen,pan african ambassador, the Ceo of weckx design_intl, a business Consultant and a Social worker and as well a multiple award winner.
Modelssphere:How did you get into fashion ?

CEO of Weckx design _intl :I think its natural, I love fashion and creativity alot, I love simple dresses but at the same time unique, fashion runs deep in my blood, I guess that's why I contested for a pageant,I Won and was crowned Queen miss fashion nigeria 2014

Modelssphere: How did u come to start your own fashion line ?

CEO of Weckx design _intl :I unveiled my brand on 15th of october 2015. First all I used this medium to enpower the female genders in the society, I gave out 25 dresses from my brand to the less privilege at special correctional centre for senior girls idi raba a week after my designs were unveiled, I saw how eager they were to learn and the zeal they had for greatness,it gave me more sense of purpose. My life is all about fashion and style so Weckx design_intl was built on that.

Modelssphere: Tell us about your most recent collection?
CEO of Weckx design _intl::Aww!!!That should be a surprise, but I will give you a hint on it. Weckx design_intl is all about defining african beauty, we make feminine dresses that would suit your skin as well your body figure but we have collections of shoes and handbags.I guess with this little hint you can figure it out yourself #Smiles#

Modelssphere: How would you define your design aesthetic?
CEO of Weckx design _intl ::I love Coral beads a lot, Dinner wear dresses are the basic of my designs and almost all of my dresses comes with beads.Casual dress,Bum shots, shoes and handbags.

Modelssphere: Where do you go for inspiration?

CEO of Weckx design _intl :I love going to the pool, a private and quite place, it gives me this sense of joy and purpose as well hanging out with my colleagues and loved ones encouragess me a lot . Most times am always busy either with school or a business meeting.

Modelssphere:: How would you describe your fashion style ?
CEO of Weckx design _intl : simple and classic.
Modelssphere : What has been your greatest challenge(s) as a fashion designer ?

CEO of Weckx design _intl :it would be the recent inflation of goods and commodity in the country today, the change of stock market and Dollar change. And as well dealing with un trust worthy people.

Modelssphere:So where do you see yourself in the next five years?
CEO of Weckx design _intl :Five years is a long time,two years should be okay for me by GOD infinite grace, I see Weckx design_intl going global.
Am working on a project which will involve the likes of ex lagos state governor and prime minister Honourable,SAN Babatunde Raji fashola, a fashion icon known as Modella,CEO's and Managers of different Organisations and a few other personnel I won't mention their names for now. And as well Models and Beauty queens of different pageants by GOD's grace I see this project surfacing this year or Next
