He reminded them that President Jonathan was an apostle of one-man, one-vote, and hence will not be "involved in oiling PDP’s rigging machinery which had been dismantled by Edo people."
He added: "Abuja cannot vote in Edo State. I heard they went to Abuja, they can go to Cameroon, they can go to Bakassi. Only Edo people will decide who their leader will be and not Abuja."
Oshiomhole spoke, yesterday, during rallies in Egor and Oredo Local Government Areas of the state, where the former governor of the state, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun and over 1,000 others were received into Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN.
Addressing the people, Oshiomhole read out projects cited in Egor and Oredo councils to include the N30 billion Benin Water Storm Project, and regretted that rather than campaigning, PDP leaders, including "their governorship candidate are running up and down seeking for help from Abuja. We have never seen the god father campaign. And it is because he knows it will be worse for PDP, when the people of the state see his face.”
