As the weekend drew a close, and the chattering classes mulled over Rihanna‘s decision to reunite with Chris Brown while he’s still on probation for assaulting her… the young singer was hard at work.

On Sunday night, Rihanna was embracing both her yin and her yang in a sexy new video for her latest single, Diamonds.



The 24-year-old singer donned a dramatic black gown and an equally show-stopping number in white as she stood in front of a fiery backdrop for the ‘Unapologetic’ track’s short film.

And if the choice of Unapologetic for the album’s title speaks volumes about her reconciliation with Brown (yet to be confirmed by either) the refrain of Diamonds is telling, too.

Rihanna sings: ‘I choose to be happy…you and I, you and I, we’re like diamonds in the sky.’

‘Heading to set #CCcertified,’ Rihanna wrote on her twitter page of shoot, following up with another short post reading, #Diamonds.’



On Saturday night Rihanna was again seen with Brown; this time at his Qubeey.com channel held at the nightclub Playhouse.

The Barbadian sweetheart then tweeted a very telling passage: ‘Forgiveness wins,’ with the message including a link to a picture of the Bible verse of Matthew 6:14.

The Biblical text reads: ‘For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.’

According to Dailymail, neither of the pop stars have officially admitted they are back together but have been spotted in some very cosy situations recently and don’t seem to care who knows about it.

The pair were at the same event in Hollywood and sources tell HollywoodLife they were also seen ‘kissing and hugging’.

However, both singers left the venue separately in different cars.



Rihanna looked decidedly coy as she was driven away with two friends and demurely kept her eyes down as her car pulled away.

Brown grinned cheekily and looked pleased with himself as he manoeuvred out of his parking spot with a young male friend in the passenger seat.
