Foolish poster.For your information,there is no local government that is called Aba Local Government.What we have there is Aba South Local Government and Aba North Local Government.Secondly IGBOs do not bear Akpan as a name.So you are just a foolish poster.We know you people,you people that always want to give the IGBOs a bad name.You people are from a certain part of the country called Nigeria.You people have been doing that for long,you people will be very foolish to think we do not know.He that is blessed by God,no one can curse.We the IGBOs dominate a certain city,a certain city that is in your land,we dominate all the markets there,we have the best buildings there,we even have an IGBO man that is a Local Government Chairman there,we have a commissioner in the State that have the city......you people do not have a single house in IGBO LAND....we know you people.

I don’t care much about the story posted but the fact that you attacked a particular group is unwarranted. This story did not attack the Igbo people at least I did not see it that way. This is made for internet news…. I may also be wrong
Would it not have been better to fault the poster instead of making it a tribal issue? To be honest I have posted quite a few stories on this website and I see it as a thankless job given the tasks involved.

If you are talking about Lagos your assumption of dominating that city or state is very wrong. Not having properties in other states is a matter of choice and not a crime. There are many reasons for that it could be a matter of economics, safety or intolerance..etc…. 
   
It is a nice thing for a non-indigene to be a commissioner or a local government chairman in Lagos state. Lagos state is the only state in the federation to accommodate such things…correct me if I am wrong. If anything it is a shining example. That’s what I’ll call tolerance and one should not be tolerant to a fault….
If it were to be a reversed situation probably that will not be possible.

One of our problems in this country is the quest or the notion of one tribe trying to dominate another coupled with “I before others” mentality. 
The said name (Akpan) is not an Igbo name we all know that. Perhaps he is or was domiciled in Aba.
What is in a name? Is Rotimi Amaechi a Yoruba or Bamidele Azikiwe the son of our late president a Yoruba?
What about Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan is he Ibo? One can go on and on.

I honestly don’t know what it will take to accommodate each other.
Tribalism is one of the reasons why we are stagnant and we may stay that way till kingdom come…god forbid.
I am not even worried about myself but generations to come.
