The police arrested the man, 30, who had been living in the Netherlands, in Upper Austria while he was a passenger on a fast train from Germany. Police said he was transporting the cocaine to Vienna.
The man had swallowed part of the cocaine, packed in so-called body-bags, and had the rest of it in his luggage, according to police.
The man faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
Four other crooks were recently jailed after they smuggled 360,000 Euros of drugs into Austria from the Netherlands.
The Upper Austrian crime office said a 33-year-old Austrian man had been arrested in Germany last December and a later search of his residence in Austria had turned up 13 kilos of cannabis products.
He was extradited, and Linz provincial court has sentenced the man and his three accomplices to between three and five years in prison each.
