This is a complex situation to address as  i am of the opinion that this new punitive law has some Sharia flavour to it although Nigeria is a secular state and that is the only contradiction about this.  Nigerian has not been declared an Islamic or Christian state so . its is so hard to impose such a rule that touches on the fundamental human rights of its citizens while at the same time it is not sensible to encourage practices that infringe on rights of individuals who feel offended by homosegxwality and what led to the demise of Sodom and Gomorrah
