A few days Nigerian movie icon, Stephanie Okereke-Linus, said that she will feature in a new American movie entitled ‘Boonville Redemption’,  she was excited about this movie when she revealed it on Twitter but some of her fans are not excited about it, some are asking if she wants to turn to be award winning Lupita Nyong with another slave movie.

 
One of her fans asked ‘So if a movie doesn’t have to do with being a slave Oyibo people won’t give Africans?’ another said ‘Slave movie again? Lupita wannabe’ Meanwhile, this has not stopped the beautiful actress to talk aabout this development.  She said that she will be playing the role of Doris in the said flick, which is set in 1906. The movie is reportedly about a 13 year-old girl, Melinda, who is angry about the hand life has dealt her and out on a tough quest to find her father.
Stephanie said she will play  a strong compassionate woman who forms a bond with a young girl, Melinda, who grew up not knowing her father. Doris plays the role of convincing her Uncle to reveal the truth to this young girl about her father’s whereabouts. We hope that she wins an award like Lupita too.
