Borno State Government has declared tomorrow Monday a work-free day for the presidential campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress candidate, Maj. Gen Muhammadu Buhari(retd.).

This announcement was contained in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Ahmed Jidda, which was made available to journalists in Maiduguri on Sunday. According to Jidda, the gesture was to enable residents of the state welcome Buhari to the state for his campaign rally.

The statement read:

     “The Borno State Government has declared Monday as a work free day. The declaration is to enable the people of the state to welcome the APC presidential candidate, Gen Muhammadu Buhari, who will arrive Maiduguri on a campaign visit on Monday.”

Jidda called on APC party supporters to come out en mass to welcome the guests.

Borno state should sort out their problem with boko haram, so that peace will reign in Nigeria. Everyone seems to be blaming Jonathan for boko haram killings and kidnapping, for getting when boko haram started initially borno state government did nothing to stop them instead the family then head of boko haram got one hundred million naira from the ex governor as a compensation for killing their son who happens to head of boko haram. Because then they were killing and destroying Christian's and ndi igbo, now is on the contrar Jonathan has to take the blame. phyuking people.

If Buhari is really the head of Boko Haram, why can't clueless GEJ arrest him? Imagine him saying stealing is not corruption, when all the people surrounding him have sucked Nigeria dry. Judgement day is around the corner.
