Three persons were on Saturday burnt to death in a lone car accident along Abeokuta-Kobape-Siun Expressway in Ogun State. The crash occurred at about 9.30pm at Adedero village in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of the state. It was gathered that the car involved, a Honda with registration number, Lagos AGX 930 BL, carrying the three victims went up in flames after one of the tyres burst.

Babatunde Akinbiyi, the Public Relations Officer of the state’s Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, confirmed the incidence w.
He added that the vehicle skidded off the road and hit a tree before going up in flames.

The PRO also disclosed that the agency’s rescue team, acting upon a distress call, rushed to the scene of the accident..
The remains of the victims have since been deposited at the morgue of the General Hospital, Ijaiye in Abeokuta.
