An anti-kidnapping squad of the Anambra State Police Command in Nnewi has killed three suspected kidnappers.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Andrew Enwerem, while recounting how the kidnappers met their water-loo in the hands of the police officer said the operatives trailed the kidnappers to Nnewi where they were gunned down.
The PPRO said, “The police operatives killed the suspects during a gun battle at Nnewi, Anambra State last Tuesday. The police successfully rescued the captives unhurt, while the lifeless bodies of the suspects were brought back to Imo State Police Headquarters, Owerri.”
He disclosed that the suspects do kidnap their victim’s from various part of the State before transferring them to their hideout in Nnewi.

“On spotting the police operatives as they were heading to the hideout, the kidnappers opened fire, which was returned by the policemen.

‘’However, when the firing died down, the three suspects laid dead but the victims were rescued unhurt,” Enwerem said.

I wonder what has gone wrong with Nigerians, why all this negative comments on our police force?, even when they did a wonderful job protecting us, some people still don't get to know that these officers whom left there beloved ones, risking it all just to protect us deserves our acknowledgement and respect .
