AMERICAN actor and comedian Reynaldo Rey has passed away aged 75.

The star, most famous famous for his roles in White Men Can’t Jump and Friday, died Thursday morning in Los Angeles, OK UK reports.

He also starred in the hit American TV series Everybody Hates Chris in 2007.

According to TMZ, Reynaldo’s manager confirmed that he passed away following complications from a stroke he suffered a year ago.

His manager told TMZ that the actor passed away in hospital, having checked in for treatment earlier this year.

It is believed that he began suffering from complications in January, and Reynaldo’s wife Evelyn was said to be at his side when he died.

Reynaldo is survived by his children Harla, Golden and Todd.
