Rumours speculating that Lil Kesh did not renew his deal with YBNL after it expired hit the headlines last week; but YBNL boss Olamide has cleared the air confirming the rumours are indeed true.
The “Street OT” rapper took to his Instagram to reveal that Lil Kesh and his former label-mate Viktoh are no longer signed to his imprint, after the expiration of their original contract two weeks ago. Nonetheless Olamide said that despite the fact that both artistes are now independent they will be managed by YBNL.

This is certainly a shocking news for fans of the record label. In other YBNL related news, Adekunle Gold will be releasing his debut album titled “Gold” in a matter of weeks.
Check Olamide’s message on Instagram below and share your thoughts; should Lil Kesh and Viktoh resign with YBNL or move on to a new chapter of their respective careers.

It looks like Lil Kesh is confident of his independence and ability to manage himself as Olamide confirm rumours and suspicions of fans that Lil Kesh won’t be renewing his contract with YBNL.
Lil Kesh now has his own record label, as speculated, the name of the record label happens to be the name of his recent released album, ”YAGI” (Young And Getting It)’. Olamide has confirmed the artiste as a record label CEO but maintains that they are family and that ”…YAGI still works with YBNL management.”

Viktoh, an artiste signed along with Lil Kesh two years ago renewed his contract with YBNL and is still under the record label. We haven’t really heard anything from Viktoh, maybe it is his turn to step out into the limelight. Lil Kesh has also confirmed his exit and maintains a family relationship with the YBNL family.
