Peter Okoye was last night forced to disable his Instagram comments when fans came for him for saying they should face the government and not celebs.

A lot of celebrities have come under pressure from their fans lately for not partaking in the recently held IStandWithNigeria protest..

Nigeria protest on 6 February after Tuface backed out, Peter Okoye posted a thumbs down emoji and captioned it;
“celebs dis!… Celebs dat! Like seriously! Face the F**king Govt! #EnoughIsEnough.” This singular action which many deem insensitive especially in the light of the current economic hardship, has enraged Nigerians to no end. It met with disapproval from many quarters with insults being hurled at the singer for not showing empathy for the cause of the average Nigerian and choosing rather to tow the path of the unbothered and privileged few.
Read some of the comments from very angry fans.
