The Delta State governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan on Thursday chided some medical practitioners over their mode of dressing and attitude to work when the editorial team of Edo Doctors Update and Magazine visited him.

Mr. Uduaghan said the medical profession was noble and that its professional ethics must be observed.

"Young doctors should not drag the name of the profession into the mud. The attitude of some young medical doctors is nothing to write home about.

"This is a respected to profession. Doctors should be role models in cultivating good relationship with humanity." He appealed to the practitioners to play active roles in politics "because you are mentally and professionally equipped to do so".

In his speech, the team Leader, Enabulele Osaghor, said the association made significant progress in rebranding the profession to create what he termed "a new identity for doctors".
