Cool FM OAP, Daddy Freeze has reacted to Apostle Suleman’s statement and reply to his stance on tithing. Daddy Freeze who told the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries that he’s up for debate, also disclosed thatPastor Adeboye is not God, hence his reply to him notwithstanding his age or status .

Here’s what he wrote;

“Dear apostle Suleiman, the leader of the #FreeNation greets you and brings glad tidings.
It would have gladdened my heart profoundly, and done the body of Christ much eminence, if you had shed some scriptural light on the tithing issue, as against going down the well worn path of sentimental and emotional blackmail your ‘elders’ have familiarized us with.
In 2017, Nigerian Pentecostal Christianity can no longer lean on the seemingly weak foundations it was established upon, as the numbers are clearly not adding up, hence the need for the #FreeTheSheeple movement to be birthed, to question conventional wisdom and challenge obtuse doctrines.
You made a statement that I find disheartening. According to you, “The GO corrected a wrong notion and I dared to respond to him”. Let me ask you, is he God? Or do I look like those people kissing and hugging his empty chair as seen in that forlorn video that went viral?
With all accorded respect sir, I have EVERY RIGHT, to demand an explanation for a doctrine that is evidently not in symphony with the teachings of Christ, or in synchrony with Biblical scripture.
Therefore, until either you, or anyone else provides conclusive biblical clarification, for why your churches collect tithe, despite the glaring contradiction that your first teachers and pastors, the 12 disciples and the churches they set up never did, this matter would linger.
About the debate you have suggested I’m all up for it, let’s communicate the venue and have this addressed once and for the last time.

Freeze is not an agent of satan. Let's face the truth and reality and stop remaining brainwashed. For how long do we continue this foolishness?
Let churches turn to humanitarian organisations and NGOs where humanity is helped and saved and people willingly make donations for its operations,  and let's see how many people will rise up and say they're pastors ; God called them. Greedy people. Why is tithe that has to do with money,  the only "thing" in the Bible that Christians become accursed because of? Why not sin? Do you think God is more interested in your tithe than your soul?
Do you think He sent His precious Son to the world to die to enable us pay our tithes or to enable us be saved?
I am an extremely committed and dedicated Christian and spirit filled; you can't b more Catholic than the Pope. African Christians,  borrow yourselves brain, ok? African churches have failed us and have failed to show us Christian love, let's begin to show it to one another. Use that money you wanna pay tithe with to take care of that poor, hungry, naked, jobless, hopeless, homeless, forlorn and frustrated cousin, brother, neighbour, sister, mother, father,  employee of yours first. Do you think by doing so the Church will "starve." No, the Church built on the Rock, Jesus will flourish and prosper without your direct financial input!

If tithe is removed from church, the number of pastors and churches will reduce drastically in Nigeria. The heart of most pastors is after mammon and not God, really.

No Tithing for Christians. At no time were first-century Christians commanded to pay tithes. The primary purpose of the tithing arrangement under the Law had been to support Israel’s temple and priesthood; consequently the obligation to pay tithes would cease when that Mosaic Law covenant came to an end as fulfilled, through Christ’s death on the torture stake. (Eph 2:15; Col 2:13, 14) It is true that Levitical priests continued serving at the temple in Jerusalem until it was destroyed in 70 C.E., but Christians from and after 33 C.E. became part of a new spiritual priesthood that was not supported by tithes.—Ro 6:14; Heb 7:12; 1Pe 2:9.
