Minister of Communications Adebayo Shittu and Sahara Reporters publisher Omoyele Sowore traded verbal blows in a radio interview over the weekend. The two were invited as guests on Ibadan’s Fresh FM, where Sowore discussed his 2019 aspirations, and the minister countered him. The two ended up trading words, Shittu calling Sowore a daydreamer who is “inconsequential.” “I am consequential because you came to power on my back, on our backs, on the backs of young people who invested a lot of hope,” Sowore replied.
