Eni Aluko Signs With Juventus And Takes On Challenge Of Growing Women’s Football In Italy

Nigerian- British player, Eni Aluko has been signed by Italian club, Juventus. The 31-year-old England international who has scored 33 goals in 102 England appearances, Joined Juventus from Chelsea after helping the London side win their recent league and cup double.

Aluko who has previously played for Birmingham and Charlton, as well as other clubs in the US, will join fellow English player Katie Zelem in the squad.
Back in August 2017, Eni Aluko, who is the elder sister of Nigeria striker, Sone Aluko, accused former England manager Mark Sampson of making racially discriminatory remarks at her in 2014. According to her, Sampson made racist jibe about Ebola and her family in Nigeria.

In the following month, Sampson was sacked for “inappropriate and unacceptable” behaviour with female players in a previous role His position was taken over by former Manchester United and Everton defender, Phil Neville.
