Just In: Lawyers Protest Against Chief Justice Of Nigeria, Onnoghen's Suspension

A group of Nigerian lawyers and activists have began protest over the suspension of Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen. Nigerian lawyers and other human rights activists are protesting the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen.
 
The protesters under the aegis of the Nigerian Bar Association including members of the National Interest Defenders and Lawyers in Defense of Democracy are currently protesting at the National Secretariat in Abuja.
 
President Muhammadu Buhari suspended Onnoghen and swore-in Justice Tanko Mohammed in his place on Friday.
 
The protesters are carrying placards of various inscriptions including
Quote
“Tanko Mohammed, stop parading yourself as CJN,” “NBA must act now by ordering lawyers to down tool,” “Amaechi, El-Rufai, Akpabio, Malami, APC: brains behind Onnoghen’s trial,” “NJC must reconvene now and expel Justice Tanko Mohammed.”

I thought these lawyers were learned fellows. Suspension is different from removal. When CBN Sanusi was suspended, Ozekhomen said that since the President appointed him, he also has the power to suspend. Ozekhomen is a SAN.
