A National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) member in Ekiti State, Abednego Ajibola, has been sentenced to death by hanging for killing his colleague overloading disagreement.

An Ado Ekiti High Court presided over by Justice Lekan Ogunmoye, on Tuesday passed the death sentence on Ajibola for causing the death of one Ojo Ogunsakin at Akure Garage along Ikere Road in Ado Ekiti on March 10, 2017.

Justice Ogunmoye ruled: “The ingredients of the offence of murder had been established against the accused person and he is convicted accordingly.
