The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, Lagos Governor-elect, Jide Sanwo-Olu and other dignitaries, on Monday graced the funeral prayers of the Lagos state Deputy Governor-Elect’s” Obafemi Hamzat” deceased father, Oba Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat.

Oba Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat, the traditional ruler of Afowowa Kingdom in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State aged 86, died on Sunday and was taking to Afowowa in Ogun State where he was laid to rest.
Incoming Governor, Sanwo-Olu who shared photos of the funeral prayers on his Twitter handle wrote,” In everything we should always give thanks to God”.

Also present at the Late Kings’s resident in Yaya Abatan area in Ogba paying extending condolences to the Deputy Governor Elect, are Speaker of the Lagos state House of Assembly Mudashiru Obasa, former Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
Also present at the event, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Oluranti Adebule.
