A 28 year old man has been arrested for defiling an eight year old girl in Lagos.

A man identified as Anudumoapo Aiodun has been arrested by the Police in Lagos after he molesting and defiling an eight year old girl.
According to a statement released by the state police command spokesperson, Bala Elkana, on Saturday June 15th at about 5.00pm, men of the Bariga Police Station received a complaint from a woman (Name withheld) that her eight years old daughter (Name withheld) was raped by their neighbour. A team of detectives from the Family Support Unit promptly arrested the suspect.

The victim was taken to General Hospital for medical treatment and forensic examination.
Bala added that Investigation is ongoing and that the suspect will be charged to court soon.

A few days ago, a man identified as Francis Joseph, 43 had reportedly defiled his friend’s 12-year-old daughter in the Lugbogi area of Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo state. Joseph who is married to four wives with nine children had warned the little girl not to disclose what he had with her to anyone, or else she would die mysteriously.

Sincerely we need to give maximum punishment for rape...we cant continue like this...
