Nigerian legendary highlife musician, Victor Olaiya has died at the age of 89. The singer died today at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital after a short illness and deterioration from age. The Olaiya family is very popular in the Nigerian entertainment scene having given birth to popular Nollywood actress, Moji Olaiya and other children who worked behind thee scene. The actual disease the led to his death has not yet been revealed. May his soul rest in peace.
