Do our parents have any role to play before we get married to someone ? what do u do when ur parents reject ur boyfriend/girlfriend for marriage ? There is the proverb that say "what the elders see when sitted, the youth can't see even when at the top of the iroko tree".  And surpose u guys have a child together.?......

u gott it all wrong, if ur parents ask u not to marry some
one u have in mind to marry,
they may have serious reason for that, what u should do
as a wise guy/gal to find out what their reason is, instead of doing strong head.
