The home team will be without the services of Danilho Doekhi for this fixture. Meanwhile, Sheraldo Becker’s availability is also a doubt. Apart from the duo, Union Berlin have everyone else available, and they are unlikely to make any major changes to their XI.

The visitors will go ahead with the 4-5-1 formation, where Frederik Ronnow will be in goal. Josip Juranovic and Jerome Roussillon will be the two full-backs. In the heart of the defence, Robin Knoche will pair up with Diogo Leite. The back four will look to keep a clean sheet against a star-studded Real Madrid attack.

Kevin Volland and Robin Gosens will feature on the flanks. While they will look to help out the full-backs, their priority will be to join the attack, score goals and create chances for their teammates.

While all of their available stars are making this away trip, the Italian manager is expected to make quite a few changes to the XI that started against Real Betis. He will look to rest his important players or players who are nursing injuries.

Kepa Arrizabalaga will return between the sticks as Real Madrid will stick with the 4-4-2 formation. Lucas Vazquez and Ferland Mendy will be the full-backs. In the heart of the defence, we might see David Alaba pair up with Nacho Fernandez.

Toni Kroos will most likely be rested for this fixture, and we might see Dani Ceballos get a rare start alongside Luka Modric and Federico Valverde. Jude Bellingham has not been a 100% fit for a while now, and he should drop to the bench and take some rest.
