Edo state born Titi Edokpayi is currently one of the fast rising actresses in Nollywood. She played the role of a Welfare Officer in Tarima, a new soap that’s running on nation television at the moment. The beautiful and well-endowed student of University of Benin recently spoke with NOLLYWOODGOSSIP‘s NOLLYWOODGOSSIP MAKING STARS. Enjoy!

Please can you tell us a little about yourself?

My name is Titi Edokpayi. I am from Edo State. In Nollywood they know me as Titi Edo. I am chocolate in complexion. I am a Theatre Arts student of UNIBEN.

 

What project are you working on right now?

I just finished shooting Tarima.

Who produced and directed it and what role did you play?

Producers are Faith Steven and Kingsley Esele. Directors are Peter Armand Boyo, Andy Boyo, and Emmanuel Ogugua. I played the role of a Welfare Officer in an Orphanage.I was in charge of the Orphanage home. I was to take the people who want to adopt through the due process.

Is the Tarima on air now, if yes on which television stations?

Yes it is. It’s on NTA international 2:30pm on Sundays. NTA network, and it’s on all our local stations here but I can’t tell their various times right now.

So what have you been doing since then?

The others have been School work, like maybe the school taking us somewhere to perform, and I do a lot of dancing as well; But it’s all been school.

Is this your first ever international magazine interview?

Yes, this is my first ever newspaper interview, not to talk of international. It’s been auditions for me not interviews. I am really glad that NOLLYWOODGOSSIP recognized me and is giving me this huge chance.

Let’s talk a little about your love life, are you married or seeing someone?

I’m not married but I’m seeing someone.

What are the qualities you like in a man?

Nice one. A God fearing Man. He should be God fearing. He must know how to treat a woman and must have respect for women. He must be caring and Romantic.

Tell us one thing that people don’t know about you!

I like making normal friends and I’m emotional. I prefer to stay with normal people and I eat anything of my choice.
