Sam Amadi, Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, has called upon Nigerians to shift their focus from merely praying for President Bola Tinubu's success to actively contributing to the nation's progress under his leadership.

Amadi emphasized the importance of collective efforts in steering Nigeria towards prosperity, urging citizens to hold their leaders accountable and speak out against any shortcomings in governance.

Expressing his views on social media, the former Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) urged Nigerians to go beyond passive support for Tinubu and instead engage in constructive criticism and advocacy for effective governance.

"Stop praying that Tinubu succeeds. Do your best to make sure that the country succeeds under him," Amadi asserted. "Speak out against what he is not doing well and work hard to hold him accountable. @officialABAT won’t succeed if he does not feel the pressure of accountability. Stop being naive."

Amadi's remarks have sparked discussions among Nigerians, with many endorsing his call for proactive citizenship and robust accountability mechanisms. His message underscores the importance of citizen engagement in shaping the nation's trajectory and ensuring that leaders are responsive to the needs and aspirations of the populace.

As Nigeria navigates through various socio-economic challenges, Amadi's advocacy for active citizenship and accountability resonates deeply, signaling a collective desire for positive change and sustainable development under Tinubu's leadership.

In conclusion, Amadi's message serves as a timely reminder of the responsibilities of citizenship and the imperative of holding leaders accountable for their actions. By actively participating in the democratic process and advocating for good governance, Nigerians can contribute to building a more prosperous and equitable nation under Tinubu's stewardship.
