Supporters of embattled former governor Yahaya Bello have performed rituals to stop his arrest by EFCC operatives.
 
A video of the incident was shared by an X user, Imran Muhammad.

In the video, the supporters could be heard making chants in Igbira language.
 
Bello who left office as governor on 27 January, is facing 19 counts of money laundering at the Federal High Court in Abuja. In the charges, EFCC accused Bello, his nephew, Ali Bello; Dauda Suleiman and Abdulsalam Hudu (said to still be at large) of conspiring to misappropriate N80 billion (N80, 246,470, 088.88).

Bloody fools. This is why NGR and Africa continues to lag behind the rest of the world in progress and development. Why would anyone with a brain, sense of fairness and justice be doing rituals to protect a person accused of wrong doing? Well, I've got news for them. Their ritual has failed before it started as Yahaya Bello WILL be charged to court and he'll only get off if he is truly innocent of the very serious allegations. Unbelievable!
