Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ndubuisi Egbo is the first Nigerian and African coach to win a league title in Europe by leading KF Tirana to victory in the Albanian top division in 2020.

Under his guidance, the team also earned a spot in the prestigious UEFA Champions League.

The former Super Eagles player was born on July 25, 1973 in the commercial city of Aba.

Egbo played as a goalkeeper during his professional career.

Egbo began his professional football career in Nigeria with NITEL Vasco Enugu, NEPA Lagos and Julius Berger before moving to Europe.

He also played in South Africa for Moroka Swallows and El-Masry in the Egyptian Premier League.

In Europe, Egbo played for Tirana and Bylis Ballsh in the Kategoria Superiore.

Notably, Egbo won three trophies while playing for Tirana.

Egbo made 12 appearances for Nigeria. He was a member of the Nigeria squad at the 2000 and 2002 African Cup of Nations.

In 2011, the versatile goalkeeper retired from professional football and ventured into a coaching role.

He started his managerial career as a goalkeeper trainer with Bylis. He subsequently took the role as a manager in 2013.

In 2014, He joined Tirana as a goalkeeper trainer. Egbo subsequently took the role as a manager in 2019. He led the team to victory by winning the 2019/2020 Albanian League title.

He is currently the manager of Kosovo Super league club Prishtina.
