President Bola Tinubu expressed confidence that Nigerians will eventually recognize and appreciate the difficult policies his administration has implemented for the country’s growth. Speaking at a recent All Progressives Congress (APC) event in Lagos on Saturday, October 5, Tinubu, represented by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, emphasized his focus on long-term reforms rather than the upcoming 2027 elections.
“While we acknowledge that our decisions have been challenging, they were necessary for the nation's progress. The benefits will become evident in due time, and I believe that moment will come when we all look back and express gratitude for the actions taken by this government,” Gbajabiamila stated.
The President's remarks reflect a commitment to implementing reforms that he believes are critical for Nigeria's future. “Right now, my priority is not the next election but ensuring a better future for the next generation. This is what defines true leadership,” he added, underscoring his administration’s dedication to long-overdue changes.
