Controversial critic, Daniel Regha has taken sides with Afrobeat artist, Davido as he questions the authenticity of the recent viral video of him.

It would be recalled that following a photo of the singer in a cozy position with an American stylist, Courtney which surfaced online, the model’s friend posted a video of Davido crying and pleading on his knees.

Daniel Regha came to the defense of the “Feel It” singer, acknowledging that it is disappointing that Davido has been involved in numerous controversies. However, he finds the video of Davido crying on his knees questionable.

According to him, it looks like a calculated move to make fun of him or create needless debate and drama on the internet.

In his words:

“Davido has been involved in a lot of controversies which is disappointing for a man of his status, but the video of him on his knees which is being circulated on the internet is very questionable. It seems like a deliberate act to either ridicule him or stir unnecessary drama & controversy online. Unfortunately, many people are quick to judge (without verifiable evidence) out of spite.”
