But why exactly are the north afraid of this national conference meeting?  I still dont understand why they always kick against their so-called one Nigeria coming together to try and see how to move the country forward....  Where ever there is a call for a national conference the north becomes very scared and kick against it.

Now my questions is, What are they afraid of? Why is it that the first thing that jumps into their minds upon hearing a call for national conference is always BREAKUP?  And since the north according to their leader can survive on it's own, why then are they scared of the national conference that might lead to breakup (according to them)?   Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh?

hmmmmmm. Undecided Undecided Undecided

When you sit down for any meal, you want meat or chicken to eat with it, but yet you refer to the Nigerian who makes it happen as cattle rarer as a form of insult
Nigeria before any oil discovery, is been taken care of by the North on both defends and crops as well Minerals for export, and no one ever mentioned of separation, because the fools are feeding the nation
The Northern people are not afraid to farm or raise cattle or do any mediocre job to keep Nigeria Afloat, just as stated above on topic, they did it for thousands of years and continue to do so, which is true patriotism
In every state you find a Northerner, no job would be beneath them or above them, but would never result to robbery or stealing, but rather honest living, which is true Patriotism
Instead of commending and appreciating the Northerner who looks after your home at night to keep your family safe from armed robbers risking their own lives for an honest living, you categorize them as fools, but yet trusted, dependable, which is true patriotism
However you praise and cherish the Nigerian who lives the life of crime, fraudulent activities and shady business practices locally and foreign countries which result in poor foreign investment in their own country for personal short term gain.  Unpatriotic
When you claim to have the highest level of education and the most viable Nigerian but yet when you travel abroad, you fill the prison of almost all countries of the world, given Nigeria a poor image for any long term business opportunity. Unpatriotic
Any citizen who fail to give a good representation of Nigeria locally or abroad in whichever way possible for the long term or short term benefits of the nation, should not be speaking about separation, since they are clueless to what is at stake, also to take a closer look at other oil producing nations, if oil money is the motive.
Since there no known Northerners or perhaps minuet percentage committing crimes or filled in prisons around the world, one should seriously think about who best represent Nigeria both on the home front and abroad.
If Nigeria separate today from the North, with the few tribes in this separates states, would kill each other by the next day for power and money hungry.  And the North has to come to the rescue of the oppressed as they did throughout Nigerian History.
The North has not only made Nigeria viable in around Africa for trade but has also attracted foreign businesses throughout our history to date, which makes the major spoken dialects Hausa, to be a lingua franca in most northern, eastern, and western African countries and thought in Universities in Africa and around the world as well radio broadcast on BBC, Radio France Internationale, China Radio International, Voice of Russia, Voice of America, Deutsche Welle, and IRIB.  North has paid dearly to keep Nigeria together as one nation.
Before your comments on your usual insults/bigotry read a bit of Nigerian history, not the kind you were told for bedtime stories, or hurdled around fire place. If you can type here to be a nuisance you can equally Google to learn about your country and how you can be patriotic in order to contribute in a small way.

Bros,lets talk about history and please let us try to back it up with facts.But before then I want to ask you something and that is,What other name do you want me to call a cattle rarer except a cattle rarer,or will you prefer I call him a lawyer or a doctor or a grocery vendor.I mean a cattle rarer is just a cattle rarer,PERIOD,meanwhile the cattle rarer does not give me his or her cattle for free,I pay for it..so what are we talking about.Please I will appreciate it if you suggest a better name for a cattle rarer

Now lets go to history.You said the North have taking care of Nigeria on both defense and crops as well as mineral export before oil discovery.I will like to take these one by one,though I do not know what you mean by crops,I know defense,I know mineral export.....but I do not know what you mean by crops.Do you mean staple foods which are still crops,like yam,beans e.t.c or do you mean cash crops which are sold for foreign exchange?.Since I do not know what you mean by crops,I will assume you mean cash crops,but I will come back to that later

Let me start with defense and oil discovery, Crude Oil was discovered in Nigeria in 1956 at Oloibiri,the discovery was made by Shell-BP,the first oil well at Oloibiri started pumping oil in 1958.So when you say the North have been taking care of Nigeria on both defense and crops as well as mineral export before oil discovery....I presume you mean anytime from 1956 back, since oil was discovered in Nigeria in 1956.When you say defense I assume you mean Military Defense,now I ask you,in what way have the North defended Nigeria from 1956 back to the time of the arrival of the colonial masters.

Now let me teach you some history.What we call the Nigerian Army today started in the year 1863.In that year a man called Lt. Glover was the Governor of Lagos,Lt.Glover was an officer of the Royal Navy.In that year,Lt. Glover selected eighteen House indigenes for his expedition as the Governor of Lagos. They were then known and called the Glover House.In 1865, the Glover House became recognized as a force called the House Constabulary and performed both the policing and military duties for the colonial government and were later known as Lagos Constabulary.

In 1886.......(that is 23 years later), a counterpart constabulary force was formed in Northern Nigeria and was called the Royal Niger Company (RNC) Constabulary Force.

So my dear,the Nigerian Army existed in Lagos(South) 23 years before it opened its branch in the North.You might like to research this further.The Nigerian Army started with 18 men from Lagos.....this is a fact,there is nothing you can do about this fact.I do not know what your North have been defending.The only time any defending was done was during the civil war and I tell you,it was not the North that did the defending,it was NIGERIAN ARMY comprising all the tribes in Nigeria and surprisingly including some Igbos,that did the defending.I am done with defense and oil discovery.

CROPS?.What on Earth are crops?.Well there are nothing like crops in Economic computation.There are only STAPLE FOODS AND CASH CROPS.I hope you will learn this and stop displaying your ignorance here.Now I want to assume what you mean is CASH CROPS.If you mean CASH CROPS,now the cash crops in Nigeria from 1956 back are
* beniseed
    * cashew nuts
    * cocoa
    * cotton
    * groundnuts
    * gum arabic
    * kolanut
    * palm kernels
    * palm oil
    * rubber
    * soybean
    * yams

I am always saying 1956 because you said before discovery of oil,we had 12 cash crops that were earning foreign exchange for Nigeria at that time.Out of these 12 cash crops 8 were grown in the South,they are Cashew Nuts,Cocoa,Cotton,Kolanut,Palm Kernels,Palm Oil,Rubber and Yam,that is 66.66% for the South leaving 33.33% for the North.The South was producing 66.66% of Nigeria's cash crops before oil discovery and you are here in your ignorance telling me that the North have been taking care of Nigeria in Crops.Why do you people always like to distort facts.I know you might like to drag if Cotton was actually produced in the South,but it might interest you to know that at that time the only Cotton Plantation in Nigeria was at Ibadan,it was called MOOR PLANTATION,you might still want to educate yourself by researching this and please tell me if I am wrong.

Finally, you also claimed that the North have taken care of Nigeria in Minerals for export.I will rather not dwell much on this but I want to point out some certain things and deduce a point from there.In 1956 Agriculture accounted for 65.7% of Nigeria's Gross Domestic Product.So we only have 34.3% of the GDP which is unaccounted for after you remove agriculture,when you make a weighted average of the other sectors of the economy using 34% as the common denominator and when you take into consideration the relative geographic distribution of the Mineral resources across Nigeria.You will find out that Mineral resources contribution of the North is insignificant.I am done with this.

Now the aboki man in my gate working as my gate man is my employee.I pay him to man my gate.If the country breaks,we will still all be in West Africa and in ECOWAS.The aboki man from Kano in your country whatever the name may be can still come to my country and stay freely for 3 months.That is guaranteed by ECOWAS CHARTER,I will get him a residence permit before the expiration of the 3 months since he is my employee and since I am a good employer.So Bros,do not worry yourself,the aboki will still be working as my gate man,only that he will be living abroad and he might want to use that to brag to you.

Patriotism?.Aboki came to my house to work as my gate man or my shoe shiner and you call that patriotism?.What about the three houses built by my grand father at Sabo Ntasha,Narayi High Cost Estate Barnawa and Constitution Road all in Kaduna?.What about the house of the father of my friend Stanley in Kano?.If you call shoe shining patriotism,what do you call an Igbo man building a house in the North?.How many northerners have houses in Enugu,Onitsha,Aba,Owerri,Umuahia,Portharcourt etc. I need an answer to this question

Finally,you can never be in a US prison if you have never been to US,you have to travel to US before you talk about breaking their laws......it is just a natural thing.Pack only 2000 average northerners to any country and most of them will end up in prison.There is no representation from the North,there has never been and there will never be.The North was and is still an instrument divide and rule.Thank you.

This is another simple way the nothern Nigerians are showcasing themselfs as a failure to entire Nigerians.What have they done for Nigerians for the past Forthy years of ruling? If truely they believe in One Nigeria, they can never make an attempt to kill their fellow Nigerians in the house of God. This is genocide, masacre and manslaughter! This is uncalled for and unconstitutional! Nigeria's case between christians in South and muslims in North  needs ICJ to decide over it or else, I Predict a situation more worseter or dangerous than somalia or afganistan come 2015.
