If there’s anything we know about Nollywood actress Shan George, it is the fact that she got married at the tender age of 15. The marriage did not last but she has 2 lovely sons from that marriage to be grateful to God for daily.
Shan later re-married but the marriage did not last also because the man walked out of the marriage due to reasons best known him.
One would assume that someone who has gone though all what Shan went through in life, would have given up on love but that is not the case with Shan George.
This is a brief excerpt from the controversial actress' latest interview:
Shan George words: My husband left me for someone else. There are a lot of women their husbands leave for someone else, I don’t think I am the only one. I married as an adult to a man that I saw and liked, and believed in my mind that I had seen someone I want to be with.
I spent four years of my life with him and the person decided to walk out, and move on with another woman, I don’t think I should be carrying matchet pursing people for that. He found another woman and decided to move on with his life.
Question: Having been disappointed in marriage twice, would you still give marriage a chance?
Shan George:"I think so"; I think there are still good men despite what we women say about men being this or that. I have seen a lot of men staying married to their wives and becoming good husband to their wives and good fathers to their children. So I think there are a lot of good men, out there, women should not because of what happened in a particular affair keep judging men as being all bad. If you had a relationship and it did not go down well, don’t use that to spoil the next one. So I am sure I will meet a good man out there someday. There should be a lot waiting for your yes or no - I have not seen a man yet, that is just the truth.

My sister is all about u, when u had two men walked out on ur marriage, doesnt mean they are bad. Is u people will be saying that u are bad, so even if u get the third person, he'll still run away from u unless u put it in prayers nd ask God's forgiveness nd change ur character. There is something that drives men to women nd also something that drives them away too no matter how popular u are.... While speaking about the place of love and money in the sustenance of a relationship recently, Nollywood Actress Shan George has this message for her fellow ladies: “Never fall in love with a poor man, because money would always be more important to him than your heart.”
Should Shan George who struggled many years on the streets of Lagos before she was able to lift her head up be the person to make this statement? Are so called "poor" men suffering from leprosy?
