CBS has renewed " Two and a Half Men. " Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones will all return to the CBS comedy for Season 10 following contract negotiations.
"Two and a Half Men" is the 19th series CBS has renewed for the 2012-2013 season. The network announced early renewals for key shows such as "The Good Wife," "Mike and Molly" and "CSI" earlier in 2012.
According to CBS, "Two and a Half Men" Season 9 is averaging 15 million viewers and a 5.2/13 in adults 18-49 in most current ratings to rank as the No.2 comedy on TV in total viewers and third in 18-49. This is the 19th CBS series renewed for next season and the fifth comedy, alongside How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, Mike & Molly and The Big Bang Theory. There series enjoyed a ratings surge after Charlie Sheen was publicly fired during Season 8 and Kutcher joined the comedy for Season 9. Kutcher's first episode in September 2011 had 28.7 million viewers.
The leading men of CBS ‘ veteran comedy Two And A Half Men are staying put. I’ve learned that Ashton Kutcher , Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones, whose contracts were up at the end of this season, are inches away from an agreement in principal for new one-year deals that will bring them back for next season — the series 10th and second with Kutcher as the star after he replaced Charlie Sheen. Word is that thetrio are returning at their current salaries, with all three getting signing bonuses. Kutcher is believed to be earning about $700,000 per episode, Cryer a bit less and Jones $300,000 an episode. Jones’ bonus at the last contract re-upping was $500,000.
