Following the recent diatribe and exchange of vituperation between the Presidency and the Presidential flagbearer of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) in the April Election, Gen. Mohammadu Buhari, Port Harcourt Lawyer and Activist, Barr. Duncan Afahokor

has described the former Military Head of State as an expired Leader who is yet to come to terms with modern realities.

Addressing Journalists yesterday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State Capital, Afahokor stressed that Buhari should forget politics and focus on preaching peace instead of overheating the polity with his drums of war.

‎"I'm often saddened to hear men like Buhari claiming to have the magic wand to transform Nigeria. He should first display his score cards in PDF. His reign in that parastal portrayed him as a sectional leader and a  tribal warlord. Such people cannot successfully preside over an entity like Nigeria with its attendant complexity.

"Buhari should forget politics for now and concentrate on writing memoirs on his journey in the corridors of power, invest in charity works and conflict resolution like his peers in other developed climes", Afahokor said.

The foremost Niger Delta Political Activist also added that though Nigeria is yet to get it right in the electoral reforms, the hope of a transformed electioneering in 2015 is high as all stakeholders in the Nigeria project must work to ensure a more credible election come 2015.

On President Jonathan and 2015 Presidential Elections, Afahokor argued that from the point of Law, the President is not in any way handicapped from running in 2015, but however stated strongly that delivering the dividends of democracy to the people should be the utmost priority of the President now, not 2015 election.

"The President do not have any legal disability from contesting the 2015 Presidential election, it is premature to start debate on 2015 when the man has not completed one year in Office", he concluded.
