Slumdog millionaire had 8 Oscar nominations and won five of the nominations. I think thats the biggest thing that ever happened to Bollywood film industry.
Do u guys think Nigeria’s Nollywood can ever produce a movie that can pull such  weight?

Actually Slumdog won all eight of the oscars for which it was nominated... unprecedented!
I think Nigerian film makers could do the same if they aren't stuck doing the same crap over and over again using bad directors, bad actors and actresses and bad scripts! Slumdog was different, fresh, and super fun to watch from beginning to end. I can't even stand most Nigerian movies for more than five minutes!
