dats 2ru, but on a second taught, i think they should sue them ( dats if they have the resources) to serve as a lesson to other quake/fake manufacturers. haven't u heard of a company being sued for producing/manufacturing fake stuff  what if the engine of the plane has factory problem dont u think they can be sued on that ground But the person who supposed to sue the manufacturer is the Alaska airline but unfortunate they sold the plane to Dana airline.. Too bad though...

Wrong move, though your loss hurts so bad the pratt and whitney enging jt8-219 etc 200series is not only found on the md80 series aircraft its also very reliable. You should have asked how well maintained the MD83 with Dana Airways was?? The md 80 series aircraft have one of the enviable safety records in aviation history far better than the B737. I fly the 2 i know the difference, one thing is that the MD80 series flies with power and lands with power and wasnt built to glide.
