what is the impact of the global economic meltdown (crunch) on you

it obvious that the world is in some sort of economy crisis as price of eventually all marketable commodity is now on the increase. it has a great deal of inverse effect to both the rich and more but alway it will hit the poor harder.
a nigerian studying abroad (ghana) were we pay in dollar as international student. the rate of school fee has increase by almost 50% as dollar that use to be within 125 to 130 naira is now about 180 to 200. it also affect me in other aspect of life here as cost of virtually everthing has increase.

how has the economic meltdown affected you and do you think things will get better within a short period of time.
