I was weak to read about the purchased of a private jet by a nigerian man of God  that cost about $26000000
at  a time when  some membres of his church can not even afford three meals a day. Personally Iwould ask what is this man of God doing with a plane?  when the Pope is even travelling around the world with Alitalia, he doesnt even have his own jet.

To me, there are other priority as a man of God .There might be reason (s) for his motivation but to the eyes of many there is no justification. Humanities comes first.I am not judging but drawing the attention that  this sum of money can as well serve for humanities in Nigeria in particular and Africa in general. $50000 can help to get a place for the destitutes affected with leprosy for example hanging around in our National high ways in Nigeria.   I am appealling to all men of God that if God is blessing you through the donations of your members of your congregations, please use this money for humanities rather than saying God bless you and given false hope and promissing of heaven to your members. For the bible says when we have no humanity and  we pretend to have the spiritual gifts of God, then these gifts are dead.

if a bill gate can own a private jet, what stops a bishop oyedepo from buying one? is it becos he is a nigerian? or a man of God? every man that has worked hard and paid his dues in life can own a yatch,an ocean liner, whether white or black, banker, entrepreneur or a preacher.
God bless nigeria.

basically there is nothing wrong in buying a private plane so long as he is also carrying out a humanitarian service. to serve God and humanity

My people, the end time is drawing near and the WORD need to go round the world as fast as possible...these pastors need to accomplish the prophesy. Come to think of it, why are reverend fathers, monks and priest do not bother about their own planes? Are they not in the same call?

They only want to enjoy the present life, forgeting the fact that they needed to care for the sheep entrusted to their care.

It's a sin to criticize the actions of a pastor? Let me recommend reading the history of protestantism.

This is a classic example of why we are what we are today and the earlier we begin to rid ourselves of such the better.

As long as the state is not paying for it, i really could care less what he owns..

Most Nigerians have been brain-washed to the extent that they have become ‘religious idiots.‘  They can no longer think straight or see well anymore. They belong to the group of “Five Foolish Virgins“.
