Man who tried to steal from the MTN Mast, nabbed

A 30-year-old man was last Saturday caught while trying to vandalise a Mobile Telecommunications Network (MTN)  mast at Bayara, a suburb of Bauchi.

A source said the suspect identified as Babangida (aka Bangis) was caught climbing the mast in an attempt to steal its components.

The source said the discovery attracted the attention of the residents, motorists and passers-by who gathered at the base of the mast located a few metres from the Bauchi-Dass Road.
